Now that should get some heads turning, giving away everything the game has and free play until right before Kunark launches.

No doubts here...quite excited about the expansion...
Also note, they mention the raid instances, and they do not mention the coolest feature...a lot of them have "save points", and more are coming...so, if you like to raid, but don't have that type of schedule anymore...what an awesome feature..

I did have 2 accounts for 3 years which only closed 6 months ago you would think I would get an invite but nothing 
The news has been that if you login on the eq2 station site, you will see your account ready to be used...update your game, and start playing again is all you need to do

I loged into my station account & went to the My account section & it still show account status as Closed .. when I try & run the game it says I need to Subscribe .. nothing free there
my friend didnt get the promo either...but he was able to log in again....odd
Just wanted to add for what it's worth. I did get the promo. No e-mail, but I logged in and my account says the following:
Also, I used to have the station pass and I guess because I played SWG at launch, I also have many of the EQII veteran rewards. Maybe all of us that got the promo have something in common.

I emailed SOE so X fingers .. I was gonna come back when expansion was released anyway but getting a free month & a bit before to relearn & get ready for the expansion would be great
Anyone else have more levels then they remember? (not that I am complaining) I could have sword I was 30 or 35, but the login says I have a 50 conjuror.

Oh, one question. Does the downtime for SOE also effect games or just SOE websites? Anyone know? I thought it was games too. But, I'd find it funny they'd send that out then have 24 hour outage of servers?

I actually decided to resub on my own yesterday (without knowing about the free play time until RoK). I saw that my account was active until November 4th, and I got panicky! I thought "have I been paying for EQ2 this whole time?".
I dont have the free time...
I was going to go and try it out. I had station access back in july maybe thats why. but i dont have any current soe subscriptions..... I logged onto soe and tried and only option i get is to reactivate my subscription.
will prolly resub and go try it out for a bit anyhow. just wish it was free....
It seems i am getting the same thing some of you are getting, i also didn't get anything in my email and i have checked all my station accounts and i don't have any "free subscription" till Nov.4th... what a bummer.

Your account had to probably be unpaid for X amount of months.

Hmm searching for a VG alternative atm and thought about reactivating my EQ2 Account as well, but I won't wait till November and I didn't get the offer either. I wrote a ticket to the customer support - hopefully they extend this offer to other customers as well.
Yeah, that could be true, but mine has been unpaid for over a year.
