I've never found EQ2 to be a particularly attractive game, I think it's just that the art styling never really sat well with me. Not that I've ever thought it was ugly, not by a long shot, but it's always been a little boring and uninspired in the visual department.
That being said, I do think they've done a much better job with the art in the newer areas over the past year, it's a shame the zoning continues to make every feel and look so closed off from the world.

In light of these pictures I know I cannot very well complain about the image quality of EQ2 - why, everyone would laugh me right out off of this thread. So, instead, in order to make myself feel better, I will find something completely off-topic to complain about lest people forget that there are those of us out there who hate Sony no matter what - even if they are successful and doing things right.

On a more serious note i really hate the low quality JPEGs oner can take ingame- does anyone know if there is a way tosave higher quality images by tweaking the game .ini?
