Has anyone seen this WoW video?

I was impressed with the framerates sustained during the large battles while running video-capturing software ::::02:: (and on what looks like the highest settings as well) Does anyone else have any thoughts or opinions on this video?

Oh, and I'd love to see a computer recreate these same battles on the EQ2 engine with the same framerates ::::40::

    Yea those battles look awesome. Makes me want to play a mage and cluster kill some Horde! image

    I think if the movie used the real ingame sounds and music, the frame rate of the movie player would decrease but with just the video, it's fine. I can't wait! image

    I believe the in-game sounds were recorded, but not the music (though the music is WoW music + some other music). At least it sounded like that for most of the video.

    It didn't show apparent lag at all. Very cool video, kudos.

    It has nice footage with good camera rotation and close ups. From promotional point of view its hella clip, yammy image

    it's funny watching all those guys chasing down ONE enemy.  I saw the battle on the docks on a WoW TV cam.  the person hosting it (gibyro?) seemed dead about 80 percent of the time.  http://www.warkraftcheese.com/wowtv/wowtvpublic.php

    Gibyro has hosted at least one raid before, so I assume he was in charge of this one as well. I love beta testers like that :)

    I also thought that the gryphons near the end were interesting - blizzard has denied any form of mounted combat, yet it appears that the gnome mage is casting from on top of the gryphon.

    i almost thought likewise myself image but it may be just camera angle illusion. Although it looked cool how the chap on gryphon was cruising above and watching spectacle ;)

    I like the raids in WoW very much. But I hope there will come tactics in it but every class got tons of class skills so thats no problem. image

    I've watched my friend play his mid-level warlock (lucky beta tester -_-), and I can tell you that rushing in to a mob will get you killed. Likewise, I'm sure rushing into a raid would also get you killed. Plus, this is a beta, and this is the first phase in which FvF has been introduced into WoW. Blizzard has already said that there will be pvp-specific elements, such as the warlock's infernal.

    Plus you should also read up a little more about WoW - for example, if you continue casting the same type of spell on an enemy (like a cold attack 5 times) the monster will build up a resistance towards cold.

    Holy cow WoW looks so darn god amazing... I watch almost all the trailers everyday... I can't wait until WoW comes out... I hope it is better that EQ2 but it will be hard to choose which one to play... December 7th ( if that release day holds up ) will start a new beginning in my life...!image

    Gasp! First time seeing WoW footage? Oh we shall make a convert out of you!

    And that video is INCREDIBLE! Very well done. The E3 video asside, this is proly the best video yet.

    And for everyone who thinks that this 'no tactics' pvp is how it will be upon release, I quote blizzard:

    "PvP concepts will be gradually introduced on this server. This means that the initial implementation of PvP is not how our final model will work once World of Warcraft is released. This patch includes the fundamental ideas of PvP in order to tune and refine the very foundation of our PvP model"

    yeah, that movie was the best. its true, it was funny how they chased down enemies with mobs. but it sucks cuz im a horde player. we will have revenge.
