2. Muspelheim, Camelot Hills (Dark Age of Camelot)
3. Windhurst, East/West Sarutabaruta (Final Fantasy XI)
4. New Trismus/New Brommel (Horizons)
5. Cora starting city and surrounding lands (RF Online)
Yes, these are all starting zones for these games (and not all of them were very good mmos IMO), but they all had initial zones that were the most enjoyable and memorable to me when I began playing them.
It's a level 70 single-group instanced zone loaded with fun, challenge, and humor.

I'd have to agree there, gets my vote. Looking forward to the rich world of AoC though some can be seen here: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/98109.html when I read the lore this depiction comes across as if someone was reading my mind!
Definately Kithicor Forest from the original EQ. The change between night and day struck fear into the hearts of newbs. I've never seen another zone where people would actually wait for day before traversing it. I don't have any pics of my own but I found one online...
There's so many from EQ.... but Lake of Ill Omen and Oasis of Marr come to mind
True. Now that I think of it Kedge Keep was extremely unique too... The Qeynos Sewers were a'maze'ing. And I thought Lake of Ill Omen was pretty sweet too.

Would definately have to say Bucherblock Mountains or Oasis in EVerquest. Running through those zones the first time just make you go....... wow. Also the pre searing in Guild Wars was very beautiful and a very fun time.

Please don't turn this into a flame war . Please no :MY GAME IS BETTER THEN YOURS LAL
Just post your fav zone with pics/vids
I'd have to go with elwynn forest from WoW ...because the hole thing feels so relaxing.
i totally agree with you, elwynn is awesome (dont ask me why)
i really think that it is one of the first areas they made. It seems to have so many little details left out of other areas in game (stormwind is the same way)

The land of Aden in Lineage II. Since the whole world is one big zone essentially you can pick any screenshot or Vid to see what I mean.

I really like this topic!
There have been so many great experiences in mmorpgs, but the ones that stand out the most as far as favorite zones are
1. Greater Faydark, Crushbone, Butcherblock (Everquest)
2. Muspelheim, Camelot Hills (Dark Age of Camelot)
3. Windhurst, East/West Sarutabaruta (Final Fantasy XI)
4. New Trismus/New Brommel (Horizons)
5. Cora starting city and surrounding lands (RF Online)

I like this area from war (im aware war isnt out yet)
but this place just looks good (in my eyes)
I also like the undercity in world of warcraft for its originality
Pre-Searing Ascalon in Guild Wars

I'm a violent man in regards to video games. There is only one place that sates my needs- HELL ITSELF!

I think Space is itself is an infinite beauty. There is nothing like getting together with your fleet to go off to a huge war in space:

IF I had to choose it would be EVE heh

i agree. i played through pre-searing 3 or 4 times just for the scenery where as i could barely tolerate the rest of the game.

EverQuest Plane of Fear ...fun but hard zone.
The icy and dangerous zone of Velketor's Lab in EverQuest.
