IM afraid the above poster is correct. There is no way to search for a character in DAOC

A easier why is if you know the name of your toons go on the camelot hearld and just type your name into the toon search and select a few servers. It will show you all the toons with that name or close to that name on the entire cluster.

Um last I checked there weren't that many servers. It probably took you longer to post your question here then it would have to login to each server.
Not sure you have ever checked then. Only one server - Andred - was ever closed.
Searching on the Herald thought, assuming you remember the name, is the best option now that I think of it. You pick one server on a cluster and it will search the entire cluster. You can then do it on the next cluster so it should not take that long to search.
