move to a new mmorpg

Hello all

So I have been playing WOW for over a year now. Lately I have been thinking about going to EQ2 or Vanguard. I have a pretty nice system and running a 8800 gts, so any game will work smooth on it. So the issue I have is that I live in Calgary, Alberta and no one seems to carry EQ 2. Which I find strange. Also can you buy EQ 2 as a complete set with all the expansions or do you need to buy seperate ones? Also I enjoy the fact that with WOW when your level 1-10 you wear basic gear that looks like basic gear and when your over 50 ish you start to wear "epic" or somewhat epic looking gear. Will I find this in Vanguard or EQ2 or will there not be to much of a difference in the levels of gear?

    I should also note that Dark ages of Camelot seems like something that I would consider.

    EQ2 all in one download..all the expansions , base game and adventure packs for only 39 bucks (i bought mine through here)

    My personal opinion is, and I've played all three, is that you at least try Dark Age of Camelot.  Thats the only MMORPG nowadays that keeps my playing.  If you do not like DAoC I would suggest EQ2 as my second choice.

    Do you think its a bad time to get into Dark age of camelot because of Warhammer coming out that everyone will get up and move over to that? I kinda have this funny feeling about that.

    So I downloaded DAOC last night and even though I played it when it first came out I didnt care for it to much. The gameplay im used to is WOW style and I find WOW has a flow to its gameplay, which I find DOAC doesent. So tonight im going to download EQ2 and hopefully I will like it a little more. Am I being to picky that I want another WOW type game? Will vanguard have the same feeling as WOW but less cartoony.

    Hey I too also live in Calgary, Alberta and you should be able to pick up EQ2 at EB Games or Video Game Trader will have it for sure (but VGT will most likely be 5$ more)

    Well, after playing WoW myself and going back to EQ2, you also will find that EQ2 isn't really that great of a game compared to WoW.  Gameplay seemed just clunky, animations looked horrible.  Good luck, but I think your best bet is looking for another game.  Maybe the CoX or even LOTRO
