Terrible Delay

Does anyone else experience incredibly long delays? I am experiencing about 30 seconds to 1 minute of delay whenever I perform actions.
I'll begin by saying that my computer is perfectly equipped to run the game, so that is not the issue. I am on a college internet line that runs all other games perfectly smoothly, so I have no idea why I am getting these delays.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes. Sometimes my cpu gets stuck on lag for like 5mins and i cant do anything.
Almost constantly I get delays that last a second or two. My computer as well can handle this game, even ultra. I think it must be the connection that they are using.
And when I try to login it doesn't seem to recognize my login info...wtf
Apparently they require addiitonal registration. Its not obvious and they telly ou nothing other thany our login failed. Would be nice if they would provide a little more info. I figured it out though.

And so I go through the trouble to register with a forum account and it still says it doesn't recognize it. My faith in this game is steadily going way down.
So here is the deal if you want to report bugs (and it is pathetic that I have to even post this) because the process is quite confusing:
1) Go to http://boards.playtr.com/postlist.php?Cat=0&Board=bugs
2) Register a name other than your NCSoft username and provide a password
3) Login using your NCSoft username and the password you just created for your forum name.
4) Then copy the URL above and paste it into your address bar again or you will never find the forum.

You mean because I had problems using a confusing forum registration process? Go flame somewhere else.

I thought you were flaming, sorry for the misunderstanding. As you probably know there is a lot of that going around these days.No I didn't go through fileplanet. But even so, the forum should be more intuitive.
One of the problems afflicting the game....which you can actually do something about.... is the NClauncher utility.
By default it stays active, presumably hoping to download updates for any other NC games you may have, and it does seem to have a memory leak or suchlike.
Right-click it in the sys-tray, and tell it to f*ck off and stop eating memory.
this wont solve all freeze problems, we are still in beta - (tho the game has gone gold so we should be on the release version ? ), but it has helped my machine run it less badly.

I hope this is the deal because the game is pretty much unplayable for me if this doesn't stop.
At least you can play it. I am just getting impossible to login messages, it recognices the login/pass but I never get into the game.

Ok I tried this and unfortunately it didn't make a difference. Someone in the game suggested closing the program and then reopening it which also did not work. I was able to get rid of some of the delay (very slightly) by turning off the voice chat in the audio options (is that even used by anyone?).Anyhow, I have seen a few other people describe the same issues as me but no one has a solution. I guess I will have to wait until the next patch and see how it goes, assuming it comes out before the beta trial is up. If that ends up being the case then I will most likely have to move on and wait for another game. Especially when I had full health, got total lagged and the next thing I know its asking me where I want to rez at. Its discouraging.
The game looks like it could be fun but I don't think I will ever find out.
So I got the lag to pretty much go away by setting (as recommnded in the beta forums) everything to as low as possible.
I will be trying the game again with higher resolution since the patch came out today that proclaims lots of stabaility fixes.
We shall see...
I went in and setup autoconfigure to detect the best settings for me (which puts it on high) and same thing as before. The memory leakage mentioned here and there also seems to be hanging around.
So apparently another patch has been released and this one claims to have fixed some memory leaks.
Lets try this again...
My hats off to you TrikkyMakk, you've got a hell of a lot more patience for this game than I ever would. After playing the game in beta, I wouldn't spend my time trying to get a bad game working...badly
Don't use your PlayNC login, for each NCSoft game there is a seperate login/password.
