always depends on what you will get with the collectors edition of age of conan:
if you get the same useless and low quality stuff like you got with lord of the rings online, then I defently won't buy it...
but if you get ingame items or anything else thats useful for the character, then I will defently buy it...

I think however that Funcom will put in some nice goodies in their collectors edition
I plan on buying the Collector's Edition, why not, its probably going to be 10 maybe 20 dollars more?
Not that big of a deal. Besides I have been a fan of REH's work for a long time, so anything to add to my collection will be just the sweeter.
I doubt I'll buy it at launch (unless it's not too much more in terms of the cost). If I enjoy the game I will consider buying it after I've played it for a couple of months.
Only if It comes with an online goody that I will treasure for a loooong time.

I buy the collectors edition for most if not all of my most anticipated games, this will be no different
. Why? because I want to. 
You may as well make the poll, "I enjoy having a worthless item that is only given to people who overpaid for the game."
It is an equivalent statement, as that is the group that will buy the collector's edition. If MMORPGs did not give those with the collector's editions, I promise sales would drop by incredible amounts. They put them in because it costs them nothing and ensure people overpay by 50%+.
Oh, and I buy collector's editions, so I am guilty.
I'll wait until this game actually gets released to decide to buy this or not. The game keeps getting pushed back. Yeah, I know I don't want to play a game that has tons of bugs in it but will they ever fix anything on time ?
I'll seriously consider purchasing the collector's edition if it includes some nice out of game items. A nice book of artwork, maps or collectibles. I've always though that a good in-game bonus wouldn't necessarily be a specific item but some customizaiton option that is available to those who purchase the collectors edition.
WTB Mammoth - pre order for normal game already in - just trying to find a retailer who does the same for the war Rhino now.
If the Collectors Edition comes with goodies that are worthy - i'll buy that too.
If it comes with a series of the new "Age of Conan" books they can F... right off.
I'll buy the collectors edition if it comes with an Age of Conan bong and a life-size replica of Conan's sword.

I never seen a game that had a decent collectors edition, exsept maby starwars galaxies.
But that game had so many updates that you were playing a difrent one whit every patch, and the stupid jedi running around...sould have stayed death, and focus development on other things then jedi...I serrious hate Soe all thay do is mess up all the games thay make...exsept EQ1

Played: Lord of the Rings Online, Starwars Galaxies.
Tried: Starwars the Old Republic, Everquest 2, Guild Wars, Vanguard, Age of Conan, Aion.
I have never bought a collectors edition but I think I will buy this one. I am a fan of Fun Com as they made the Longest Journey and Dream Fall. Both were great games. I am also happy to pay a little more to support this game having a Mature rating. Some cool swag would be nice to.

Oh I like the way the game is shaping up too, its just that the usual collector edition of other titles rarely offers anything that you won't just put in a desk draw and not see again for a year. So it would be nice to have something actually usefull to justify the extra cost.
Same here. I never bought a CE, but AoC is AoC. I only hope that with it FC will give something worth of price.

Depends on what they offer in the collectors edition and if it is worth the money, also sometimes I wait until I actually play a few weeks to see if the game really appeals to my liking hate dishing out 70-80 dollars on a game that is not worth it lets see can we think of a game like that starts with a "V" that I feel bad for those that purchased a CE.
be great if they had limited edition prints of a mature nature plus a couple in game goodies. anything to keep the damn kids away. if its just a "the making of" disk and stupid things like that i cant see wasting $ on it. a letter opener would be swell also.
