Don't buy it SOE is giving the game away for free. All the expansions  for free plus 3 months of free play to all former Vanguard players.  Buy Vanguard (despite its flaws its a much much better game than EQ2) for $10 then cancel Vanguard and SOE will likely email you the offer.

The easiest to get is the Everquest 2 All in one compilation from Direct 2 drive:

Yeah Im kinda wondering where this email is as well.. I was playing VG from launch and even went back to it for about a week. No email here =p

I do believe only ex players of EQ2 were viable for the vanguard promotion. People who just played vanguard but never had EQ2 account couldnt participate.

I played EQ2 for like 6 months as well. Forgot to mention that in my post. Could be they dont have my current email addy now that I think of it.

I played EQ2 longer than VG has been out.  Why haven't I gotten a email from them giving me free service?

You could try contacting their support, but there was also a matter of last EQ2 subscribtion date in that offer. I think your EQ2 account must have been innactive for at least six months or so to be viable.

The base game can be found usually under $10.  If you want the full experience, either wait for the expansion in a month and it will include everything up to that point, or get echoes of faydwer which has everything up to now in it.
