So...I did some searching and found like five different answers.
Anyone know what the latest word on system requirements is?

go to the beta sign up page.. it tells you what the min requirements are to get in beta.

Minimum:
- Windows® XP/Vista
- Pentium® IV 1.5 Ghz or greater
- 512 MB RAM
- DirectX 9 Compatible video card - NVidia® GeForce™ FX 5700, ATI® Radeon® 9600, or equivalent with 128MB of texture memory. The video card must support PixelShader 2.0 and Graphics Shader 2.0.
- DirectSound compatible audio hardware
- Broadband Internet Connection
- 16x DVD-ROM
- 4GB Hard Drive Space
Recommended:
- Windows® XP/Vista
- Core Duo 2.0 Ghz or greater
- 1024 MB RAM
- DirectX 9 Compatible video card. NVIDIA® Geforce™ 6600, ATI® X850, or equivalent with 256MB of texture memory
- DirectSound compatible audio hardware
- Broadband Internet Connection
- 16x DVD-ROM
- 4GB Hard Drive Space
When it comes to figuring out whether your machine will run our game, the most common challenge will lie with your video card. At a bare minimum, a video card must support Pixel Shader 2.0. If you have questions regarding the specifics of your video card, you will want to go the web site of your card's manufacturer, and perform a search on "pixel shader".
Word from most people is that while the game looks very good it is not very demanding.

My concern is that those numbers have been up for quite awhile now and I'm not sure they still reflect the actual requirements. Still, I couldn't find anything better. Hopefully there will be something set in stone (and a release date) by the pre-release.
The pre-order box will be on shelves in a couple weeks, I am sure that will have the specs posted. but I wouldn't expect it to change, the game has been quite done in terms of stuff that would affect the min requirements so when they say that is what they are they know.

A very heavy instance game. I feel sorry for people who have a crappy computer and have to sit at the load screens.
