The title said it all. Which game is better? Guildwars or Fury?? Which game requires more skills/team organization (players ability to play)? Is Fury worth to buy compare to Guildwars?
Fury is new, so it will not be completely dominated right away, so if you are looking for a PvP only game, with not PvE at all, get into Fury right away next week. It will not be long before there is a core of dominant players.
I have played GW for about 5-6 months. Fury and GW are similar games. But there are some major differences between these games:
- Fury is pure PvP, GW is PvE+PvP.
- You are basically classless in Fury, you can pick any skills from any classes. This enhances the variety of builds, I find this positive.
- Fury is faster than any other MMORPG out there is.
- Gear importance is minimized in Fury. It is becoming more and more like a casual style (with improvements announced). All new players will have 1000 equip points at start, which will reduce the difference between experienced player and newbies. In GW you need to unlock lots of skills to become good, this is not the same for Fury.
- GW has been out for years, it has advantages on performance and player base over Fury.

Osbourne Cox: I know very well what you represent. You represent the idiocy of today.
Ted Treffon: No, I don't represent that either.
Osbourne Cox: You are part of a league of morons. Oh, yes. You see you're one of the morons I've been fighting my whole life. But guess what. Today, I win.
Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

Give it a try, either way it's a good investment, not having to pay monthly fee's to play it, and all. hop on, have some fun for a while, hop off, go do something else..:P
I like the fact that I don't have to quest 3 billion hours in order to be competitive in PvP in "Fury". Warning for all the hardcore PvPers out there, this game is built with casual PvPers in mind. I like it thought but I have been with Guild Wars a long..long time (waiting on GW 2).

Unless they changed some skills drastically in one week (the week between Fury Challenge and release day), then there are a lot of skills in the classes that are exactly the same as other classes. The icon and school are different, but they work the same. - Fury is faster than any other MMORPG out there is. - Gear importance is minimized in Fury. In GW you need to unlock lots of skills to become good, this is not the same for Fury. You make it sound like GW is gear based, which it is not. And in Fury you need to unlock too, still. Or you can spend some extra real money to be UAX. Not much different from GW in this respect. - GW has been out for years, it has advantages on performance and player base over Fury.

My computer is already 3 years old and it would be nice if there is a demo I could try it on my computer...
