Coming back to the game, what server should I join?

I originally played for about a month back in 2005, but I didn't have the time to dedicate to the game---so I canceled. Anyway, I'm rejoining (getting Echoes of Faydwer tomorrow, hopefully) now that I do have the time (since I quite enjoyed what I had tried out originally), and hopefully bringing 2 or 3 friends with me. Now, the reason I'm asking is because I see that the most frequented PvE server is Antonia Bayle, but that's a RP server. Exactly how strict are the RP servers in this? Will my friends and I get called out and chased off the server if we don't roleplay? Or is it more of a casual atmosphere designed to promote RP, instead of enforcing it?
If AB isn't the ideal server for my group; are there any suggestions as to an alternative?

Antonia Bayle has been growing steadily and is the most populated, non PVP server at the moment. There is no RP requirement. Many guilds do RP, many do not. There is a status indicator for anyone who is RPing and for the most part, they keep to themselves. AB is my favorite community of all of the servers I have played. If you liked the game in 2005, you'll love it now, the devs have made a lot of nice changes.
It is definitely a "promote RP" mentality rather than a ruleset.
Alright, good. That's what I figured, but I wanted to make sure beforehand so that I didn't get lynched for me or a friend saying something OOC in the wrong channel, or having a name that wasn't either totally serious or not exactly original. But I guess that's more of a thing on servers where there's a ruleset rather than promotion or just basic guidelines.
Honestly, i think they are all good.
Someone mentionned that they were all HEAVY lately (will have to check that...)

Interesting...last night I logged in to full channels on the server...I could not believe how much chatter was going on..people discussing various aspects of the game...chatting about movies, jobs, questing...several groups ran past me as I was questing...
Right now I think all of the servers are filling up nicely! Must be anticipation of the expansion..

RP in this game is a joke!
How can you have RP and yet have a Qeynos and Freep guilded together?
The RP server is more of a "Tag" than a ruleset. So the same core gameplay still exists, but hey if you can roleplay the reason, then why not? Possibly the guild ha a few "spies" within the other realm? Just have to use your imagination.

It's not so much a lack of imagination as it is the fact that I find that it's too big of a distraction for me in most cases. RPing can be fun for me, but there's so many out there that really aren't fit to be doing it that it can make it difficult as well, which is another reason as to why I avoid RP outside of tight communities. Plus, sometimes I find that it gets too serious and gets in the way of just having, well, fun.
