Price of expansions

TzereenTzereen Member UncommonPosts: 7

Hello!

I have found Everquest II in one of my local stores for just 9.99$, so I am thinking of buying it.

But I'm interested whether I'll be able to play the game normally, or will I have to buy expansions? Or do they come for free?

Which box is it? What's the title?

If it says Echoes of Faydwer then you get every expansion with it.

I'm not sure what it says, but from what I can remember it didnt said anything on the box, just plain EverQuest II.

If I were you I would wait a month and grab the Kurnark pack with all the expansions up to date for about 50 bucks. You will also be able to start in the new starter zone and it will be more likely to be populated at low levels again as people raise alts.

    Thanks guys!

    I have 2 more questions.

Does Eq2 have different servers for europe and US?

And how would you rate customer support? And game support in general. Because to me the original game site looks very bad with very few info.

What do you mean by game support? It's a video game, I don't see why you need support in the first place. Is you get stuck, page a GM. If you have a stupid question, look it up on the internet.

I played EQ2 for a long time, I really love it, I hope you have fun! I will be coming back when Rise of Kunark is released. :)

The book you get with the game will tell you all the emotes and commands. If you lose the book there is an in game command to list the emotes / commands and they are listed in various places on the internet. You can also download custom user interfaces which come up with a list of emotes with the press of one button. Dance is /dance and they are all fairly easy to remember like that.

Not sure what you mean by armory, if you mean like the new character database that WoW released, EQ2 had http://www.eq2players.com a few years before WoW copied it. If you mean sites with item listings there is http://eq2.allahkazam.com and http://eq2idb.com and http://www.eq2.wikia.com and many more.

Yes, but you are not limited to play on either. The EU and US version games runs with different client versions (dunno why), you will just get a small patch when changing between them, no big deal.

To get access to the US or EU server list, you has to change the region in the screen when you are about to accept the EULA (since the two regions has probably a bit different EULA's).
