Haven't looked at that game at all. Hmm What can you tell me about it?

Yes i experienced it problems shall we say.

I hear WWII:O has become quite an enjoyable game despite its lack of up to date GFX. I cant be to sure as I havent tried it yet. I will once they release a trial though. Have you tried A Tale in the Desert? Quite a unique concept and a timesink which doesnt make you feel like you must stay at your comp 24/7 just to feel like you can compete.
Hey! Check the mainpage of ww2online (www.wwiionline.com). They just opened a new 14-day free trial. (Clear link to the free trial account creation: https://secure.playnet.com/bv/adm/wwiiol/signup.jsp?section=promo_steptwo) And they don't ask credit card numbers or other shit. I tried an free trial about a year ago and I have been playing ww2online since. It's the only game worth of a monthly payment in my opinion.

Thats gotta be the most informative comment I have ever heard!
Really should actually read reviews about the game and even read the FAQ's before you make a dumb comment like this. If you did, you would know, at least WoW, is nothing like EQ.
Ragnarok is a well-established 2D/3D fantasy MMORPG with a downloadable client and free trial. I didn't play it beyond the trial myself, but it's certainly worth looking into...just don't let the broken english bother you; it's translated korean. Easy to pick up, large world, and not bad looking.
As for There, I haven't played it but it looks a little different from your standard EQ-derivative fare; more of a social/economic environment. I think it might operate on a US$ economy, so there might be extra costs and/or ways of making real money in game. Both games have nice high-quality websites.
...just remembered Second Life (secondlife.com)...haven't played this either, but might be worth a look. Looks to be in the same category as There. Who knows? I know for a fact this game has a real ($) economy.
Malkavian check out the llinks given by Jerraye above.
It's basically a massive multiplayer game simulating the 2nd world war.....currently there is only one theatre modelled which is Western Europe with another theatre due probably before the end of the year. You choose a side and basically refight world war 2, online...hence the name wwiionline
It was release way way too early 3 years ago...in fact i would say it was released 3 years too early, in other words it is now a damn fine playable and fun game. IT has its issues just like every mmog going but the developemnt is now at a good steady rate and is continually improving.
Bascically in a nutshell you can choose to fly planes, fight in tanks or fight as an infantry man....all in one single massive seamless map of europe.
Dont let the gfx put you off they are more than adequate when you get playing, you'll be so tied up trying to stay alive you wont care if the bushes are blue

I'd say try Eve, because it's the most fun I've had in a MMORPG in a LONG time. It's not perfect, but it's as close as you're going to get for now.
Whoa, great job! You have a secret none of us know about when the game ISN'T EVEN RELEASED YET!
Theres a really good game that not many people know about called Savage. the demo is free and its totally online. Its basically a mmorpg, fps, and strategy game all in one. Its really fun! try the demo its multiplayer.
too bad the ww2:o free trial isnt on any more ive been dying to try this game for myself and see if its worth subscribing to. I tried savage btw and didnt really like it maybe its cause i only played the free version but...
Ok i'll definately check the DnL beta out... I'll look at the controls for SWG again and concerning WWII, i prefer Battlefield 1944's series ... Thanks guys keep em coming!

No one's mentioned either Ragnarok Online (www.ragnarokonline.com) or There (www.there.com).
