Just wonderin what's going on with the game. Is there an actual ArchLord yet. Have they implemented the castle sieges yet. Basically have they done everything they said they were going to do.Does anyone actually play anymore. Thanks
There is an Archlord on the Brumhart and Gaiahon servers. Evengarda just opened so it doesn't have one yet. I am pretty sure they ran at least one siege, but, from what I gather, it was more to iron out the rough spots for the long term. I don't know what else to tell you, there are plenty of people about since the game has gone free.
I haven't seen any bots myself, but there is a lot of gold spammers on the shout channel. But you can just switch that off, and its all good.
Just rolled a character for the first time on Friday and chose the new server in the hopes that there will be more noobs like me running around. So far I have been pleasantly surprized by the amount of people in the starter town at different times of the day even late night/early morning. By no means crowded but not a ghost town either. I did venture to the second town near me and it was kinda bare, but i will visit again today to see.
Have not noticed too many bots, unless these bots all have actual names. Most bots I see in other games are just name "adfagfda" or something along those lines.
I will continue to give this game a chance and see how it works out.
Seeking info from some "vets"...do you think it is actually worth it to join a guild or is it just as enjoyable to play solo and group when necessary?

There are various group bonuses that make grouping useful and the nature of the game makes a guild a most after the noob levels. Think the political and territorial aspects of L2. Also groups allow you to auto loot a feature very time saving for all. There are plenty of bots with normal names.

Thanks for the info.
I guess the botters here aren't as lazy as in other games
One more question before my next question ...what is the Auto Looting thing about? If it is an easy read on a FAQ somewhere, just let me know. If not however, I would love to know why everyone and there brother kept requesting groups for said action.

You may have thought to yourself "jeesh, that dude levels fast!"... Hes a BOT (most likely)
I've played Archlord for about 3 or 4 months and i reached level 62... about 10 of those levels were by me, the others were done with my BOT. As an elementalist or Sorcerer it is very easy to BOT this game to the end to be honest.
I warn you all, don't fall into the chantra trap or you are doomed. A friend of mine has spent over £500 on chantra and £300 on in-game currency just to become the best of his class at that particular level... hes only level 61 too.
The pvp in this game is good, but again is spoiled. I openly admit that i hacked the skills so that the cool downs were Zero. I could spam by strongest AoE as an elementalist and have anyone dead in no time.
If your gonna play this game, be prepared to lose to a cheater because cheaters always win

When I want to level (and that's not all I do, I enjoy other things in the game like the quests and occasionally a PvP fight in the squares), I go to one of the dungeons, currently the mine, find a good spot and kill MOB after MOB. I don't stop to talk or run around or spam shouts, I juste level. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to go through a level right now...I'm currently 25. Does that make me a BOT? Is there any real proof other than other people's inability to level?
Sometimes I grind for ingredients for morph potions, again killing the same MOBS over and over and concentrating on that, it takes a while to gather enough for 10 pots, but it's good money and a few XP too boot. I guess I am a BOT then too?
Try Lineage II, where the same group of oddly named people (XXXIV1, XXXIV2, XXX123 and the like) go out to the same spot, kill tons of MOBS, go back to the nearest city when they level too high to get drops and attack the guards to de-level over and over again, when they are leveled down enough they go out to the same spot they started at and do the same thing again. That would be a BOT, especially after DAYS of doing this. So...other than someone leveling fast, where do you see BOTS?

Auto loot is a party only feature. When a craeture is killed it automatically divvies up loot and gold.
