Weapons Customization screenshots!

LidaneLidane Member CommonPosts: 2,300

Over at the official CoH forums, someone has posted a list of screenshots for some of the new weapons in Issue 11:

boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat.php

Keep in mind, these are only the weapons that are immediately available. This list does NOT include the weapons that are unlocked via badges in the game, so it's far from complete. But there are some nice ones on the list, IMO.

Also it is in testing and may change before it goes live.

Only sad thing is I have a hero is over two years old with all kinds of badges and such with the single blade power. Now in order to get the new dual-blade power (which is how I envisioned him) I would have to start him from scratch.

You are only allowed to change your powers in your power set with you complete terra volta, etc.

It has been a few months since I played, but I thought the power respecs only allowed you to change the powers in YOUR power set. They do not actually allow you to change to a different power set in your archetype.

My Scrapper has the blades power set and I would have to create him from scratch for the dual blade power set.

Thats correct, theres no way to change your powersets. Although, if you enjoyed the character so much, why not reroll him and play him the way you envisioned him?

Exactly -- if you had fun playing him then, you may just have fun playinghim again -- and you could earn all of the badges back.  heck, you can rename your current version or transfer him to another server and then reuse the name.

Respecs only allow you to change your current powers, you are not allowed to change your power sets. Dual Blades is a new power set so you can't respec to get Dual Blades.

The only badges you CAN'T get in CoH are the accolades for logging in during anniversary months, every other badge would still be available to ya. Go ahead an reroll him!

OR Hold out and hope that the next step in upgrading this game is power set respecs.
