I am running a HP Pavillon DV9310us Laptop with the following specs.
Amd Turion 64 duel core Cpu running at 1.61 GHz each Cpu
1 GHz ram
Nvidia Geforce Go 6150
I know the minimum req's call for a 2.5GHz CPU but my question is will this duel core machine compensate for the CPU. I will be upgrade the memory within the next couple of months and will be adding another gig of ram. In the opinion of technical minds greater then mine will this machine run this game in it's current state?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Your specs are similar to one of my computers and it can run it. But I feel like it's on the fringe of running it. It has Geforce 6200, 1 GB RAM, 2.53 Ghz P4. I think your dual core processor would be fine for the minimum specs.
The extra gig of ram will make a huge difference. T.R uses quite a lot of memory 800Meg +
Processor should be fine - and I guess as long as you dont mind running it with the graphic settings set low. Just ignore the ugly ground and trees with the options set low.
Dont mind the bad graphics just want to see if the game is good enough to upgrade my desktop in the next 6 months or so. I cut my mmorpg teeth on Ultima Online and am hoping that this game lives up to my memories and hours upon hours of fun I had. Also I'm tired of World of Warcraft and need something different. Thanks for your advice and hope to see you in game.

The game is totally different from Ultima Online - its a Class/level game rather than the open sandbox / skills type game that people say Ultima Online was.
You CAN run it, but chances are it will lag like hell in the major cities.
I made the min specs of Lord of the Rings Online, but when i got to the main town, it looked pretty bad. If i were you i would try to upgrade that CPU to a 2.0 at least, and adding some more ram. But since you are on a laptop, that might be difficult lol.
I wouldnt try to run Tabula Rasa on anything less than 2Gb of RAM, but RAM is cheap these days.
If you do run it I would suggest immediately going into the graphics settings and changing the Graphics to low. Tabula Rasa is a beautiful game especially with graphics set to high, very high or ultra, but unfortunately your rig probably wont handle it at much above low or normal.
