Flying?
I like flying in MMOS. Don't know how it would do in Darkfall but it's one of the original features that was cut so I suppose they decided that it might not work really well. There's a good discussion on the official forum

yea with flying in it changes everything and creates a bad ballance issue
Havent the devs stated many times there will be flying in DF?
And balance? Anyone can pick that spell....so why would it not be "ballanced"?
Actually Daarco your thinking of the mage's levitate spell which(unless they changed it) gives you a sort of hovering like flight.
Flying, or at least flying mounts, was in the original list of DF features, but as yami said, a long time ago, they've said it would defeat the purpose of some other features and decided to scratch it.
Balance is important but that goes to everything in the game. Flying can be balanced as everything else. The devs have concentrated on other parts but I am pretty sure it will be in there sooner (rather) than later.

But with some wind spells you could maybe "fly" with it?
If you can fly over clan cities then you can spy on them and this could result int balancing issues. I dont think that flying is a good idea...
Perhaps they could balance flying by letting clans install anti-aircraft guns in their keeps?

i like scubadiveing and spacebattles.. ! however i dont think spacebattles gonna be part of darkfall

Flying is out, and the Devs said so long time ago. Don't worry though we will get siege equipment, and we can also use Naval attacks if the city is located near the body of water.
He probably thought that because of that video somebody put on youtube that talks about absolute freedom for DarkFall, if you can dream it blah blah blah.
