forget that then. World pvp is the most fun... Instances are so organized.... Everyone likes some random chaotic town raid every now and then. That kinda ruins it for me.. I might still check it out because of the pvp only aspect if they get some world pvp...
I hear alot about how there are instance pvp but is there world pvp?
As long as you're looking for competive pvp Fury has you need. If you're looking for the darker aspects of world pvp like corpse camping, griefing, or etc you would need to look elsewhere. There is no pve in Fury, it is 100% pvp in instanced matches. There are several game types:
Team Elimination: 4vs4 group death match.
Vortex: 8vs8 Team objective match.
Bloodbath: 16 player free for all match, die respawn and kill some more.
You are awarded cash and items depending on how well you did in the game. Not just death blows the game counts assists, overall damage, healing, defensive abilites used, and etc to determine how well you played your class.

"There is no pve in Fury, it is 100% pvp in instanced matches. "
Then this game is doomed as it won't even draw the FPS crowd in since they mostly hate fantasy.... why in the world with the competition of today would anyone make a game like this? This is not an MMO if there is no world and should be a 360 game.
DDO had no world when it was released it was just a mass of instanced dungeons from a town. No one questioned wether it was an mmo or not. Fury is no different instead of instanced dungeons it's instanced pvp matches. You can walk around town and upgrade your character in the same fashion with everyone on one server. Lots of people = massive. People able to group up and communicate with friends in a game world = multiplayer. And it has internets = online.
The absence of pve shocks the mmo world, enough to change its very name? I think mmo fits just fine. I would join in your argument if you just join servers with games in progress like classic FPS which are just labeled multiplayer.
