amusing, I'll admit, but I have to feel sorry for the guy. Clearly he can't enjoy anything in life, since he's made it his mission to find fault with everything around him. I think he has some deep psychological issues as a result of poor self-esteem.

Thats called comedy. Tally the most successful comedians, those that enjoy everything in life and those that find fault in everything, and you'd find the ones that can see a problem in anything can see a joke in anything. This guy is hilarious. Kudos to him.

Say what you will, but he's reviewed mostly really popular games and given them all hilarious reviews. Whether you take them as bad or as good, it doesn't matter. If you don't want to play halo 3 because of his review and figure it's all true, that's fine with me. Nothing he pointed out really devastated anything the success of this game in any way. Please don't ruin the joke by making "doom and gloom" posts to follow up. Most of his jokes played around Richard Garriott anyway, which, was actually true. He also mentioned he puts just coque in peoples salads. It's a joke, lets not take it all seriously.

Netherless despite that Bioshock is still a great game.

I LOVE this guy's reviews. Why? Because he has an absolutely awesome sense of humor but more to the point: He is SPOT ON.

I'm a TR fanboi... and I LOL'd here at work while watching that. AHAHAHA. He makes some good points though, like removing the grind from MMO's, its always been a lie and a lot of companies have claimed it they need to grow up and stop lying. The whole pleasing as many people as possible was also very LOL. I also agree that WoW is just about as good as its going to get (for a long, long time at least).
But what was truely funny is that 90% of that review had nothing what-so-ever to do with TR. I was kind of disappointed and I wanted to release my inner fanboism on him... but alas I cannot. I also did find it amusing that my starting colors did not matter obviously game-breaking.

Yahtzee is so right about everything regarding TR.
But don't get him wrong.... He doesn't hate MMO's and period. HE hates how THESE mmos work, because He thinks they're all timesinks crap, and He's right. But nobody said that mmos have to be like that until the end of time. Whoever sets "rules" for a genre has to be an idiot.
There can be mmos without timesink.

Holy crap. I am still trying to digest everything I just heard. Just for the record, does this guy talk faster than the Micro-Machines guy, or was it just my computer playing the video a bit to fast?
All things aside I was able to actually catch a few things and well... it was funny.
I found this review after seeing the Halo 3 one. I loved the "NPCs being pants-on-head retarded" comment.
So of course you gotta watch all the other reviews such as Orange Box, Tomb Raider, Peggle and Tabula Rasa. Every one was spot on. Though I haven'r played Tabula Rasa yet, his comment about grindtacular gameplay makes me weep for the MMOs.
So was he right about Tabula Rasa? Is this game as bad as he said?

I usually don't like reviewers who just trash things but I regard Yatzhee's videos more as entertainment in themselves. Good comedians can find the humor in anything that that's what this guy does even if it's the mocking sort. Plus he always has awesome quotes:
"Taking the grind of MMORPGs would be like taking the crazy out of Richard Garriott"
How fitting since Garriott is the one who created that grind in the first place.
Edit: Turns out Yahtzee doesn't hate EVERYTHING
