Is NcSoft going to start with a clean slate?

Will I get to keep all my credits and keep my characters once Tabula Rasa is released? Will I have to start all over again? Not really a big deal if this is the case cause I have only been playing for a few days and the release is in a few weeks. But, I would like to know out of curiosity.

NCSoft had stated that before its release they would clean all character database and who have made a  pre-order would be able to play the game 3 days before its official release.

Yes! I just dont understand why NCSoft didnt put it on beta stage. IMO its something that will affect my decision to play a game or don't.

there have been several database wipes since beta started - and one more expected prior to the 3-day early-bird special

I actually can't remember the last game that let you keep your character and items/money when going from beta to live, get serious. :P

Actually, LotRO did, sort of... .you could keep your characters from the final open beta (capped at level 15) into the games production release.....
