Naked wooden trees resembling females...gee don't make it to obvious who your target audience is blizzard at least in GTA you had to unlock the game "pron" pretty distasteful on there part by all means now I wonder if there are big sculpted epeen statues or tree to go with blizzard pronographic theme? Good gob blizzard way to keep the perverts and lesbos at bay Booty bay that is

I think the trees are a nice touch. Even though I don't play WoW anymore, it makes me curious what that place is.

I thought they were meant to be updating the graphics in the expansion. I can see little to no evidence of this in these screenshots.

Well they have only mensioned new ice and partical shader effects as new gfx update.. but as with TBC the poly count on models looks to have increased as well as the draw distance. But they still look colourful and vibrant as ever thats enough for me.. you cannot out-spec your player base with an expansion pack... players need to be-able to play an expanison without an upgrade.

Interesting. So because a sculpture is of a naked female body it makes it targeted to young people?  You just scored 5 of 5 nut jobs GG!

What do you suppose they do, clothe the statue? Every game has it's female sculptures (statues) of at least 1 naked female or close to it in the game world.

Your whole post makes no sense, are you actually offended by this? WTG grandma!

i could see the difference between TBC and the original WoW but i'm not seeing much improvment between this and TBC

more polygons or not, the blizzard art team does know how to do a lot with a little.

    Bollocks!

Since when do people make sculptures out of living growing tree trunks? They don't know why it'd kill the tree. Am I offended not really I just think it's a obvious marketing ploy since sex sells and people know it I don't know why you call it a statue when it's a tree and they could've used leaves to cover that area easily enough, In any case I don't really care blizzard lost my respect a long time ago with there horrible customer service record. They don't care about there customers till there gone then they start trying to lure em back with teaser trials.

WoW is still pathetic (gee no surprise there), blizzard is just as bad, and yet another boring expansion is on the horizon. meh nothing new just wasted space in the world of gaming.

Get a clue... it is a fantasy world... maybe the trees grow like that? Maybe a bad guy turned all the protectors of the grove into trees... maybe they just take the form of trees because they are like a million years old?

I stopped playing wow way back when and think little of Blizzard but attacking them at every opportunity just makes you look stupid.

I'm sure if they wanted to include porn, you'd get porn. And they're not naked... they're trees shaped like a women! With no nipples, no belly button... sheesh.

If WoW lost too many people i'm sure they could make another kick-ass game and still have billions of profit left in their pocket.

I'd take wow graphics any day over some of the high graphic games with loads of loading screen and invisible walls and duplicate instances for the same place to keep the lag down.

I don't see anything that needs to be covered. Are there some kind of magic tree nipples that only you can see?

Do these screenshots make anyone else's retinas sizzle?

    (lol, magic tree nipples.)

Winter 08. Blizzard just decided to announce it over the summer to whip people into a frenzy of grinding and fandom squealing over a year ahead of time.
