    OK, I'm gonna try and tackle this for you.  I have purchased this game myself, and am enjoying it quite a bit.  If you search my latest posts you can see my opinion on it.  As far as comparing it to Guild Wars, it is faster in pace and far more strategic, with less focus on making a build to completely counter another one.  There are no actual classes, but the abilities are divided up into "archetypes" that are just basically a good way to list complimentary skills. 

    Unlike Guild Wars, there is NO PVE at all.  Your character does not have levels, but you get quests to unlock abilities in exchange for essence, which is a currency you gain from fighting in PVP.  Items are available to be rolled on after battles, or they can be created by NPCs in exchange for gold.  It is definitely a good game, but it has some bugs.  If you are worried about wasting money on the game, you should wait until Auran puts out a trial.  The game is very fun, but will only appeal to a limited audience.
