I have never seen anything like the fires happening in the San Diego area......but just out of curiosity, didn't God say he would not flood the earth a second time, but would set it a flame? Been awile since I have read the bible....there ain't no Ark this time.....unless NASA builds it.
Not so nice guy!
No Idea what the bible says, but they caught some douche on a dirtbike earlier today setting more fires... So call him what you want!
Surprised you guys are just getting to reporting this since it's been up for two days.

But, not only are some people still evacuated, but there's a need to only use so much energy so SOE has stopped using internal servers/services as well. So testing servers are down as well. Luckily a good number of people are keeping us up-to-date via their forums.
Ok, I will call him Burt....only because I always hated Burt from Burt & Ernie. On the other hand I do like ice cream, and purple elephants. Scarey clowns are a turn off. boobs are a turn on....
Not so nice guy!
Best wishes to all those threatened by the fires there.

I can wholeheatedly agree with all of these, especially the clowns and boobs part.

Then I'm just confused as to why the reposting. *confused*
Hi everyone, I've made a few changes to this article and have a few updates. The word 'continue' was left out of the original headline. This story was originally posted on Monday, and we posted it again today because the wildfire situation is ongoing. Many San Diego area companies are working with limited manpower and restricted energy consumption. Along with the many service disruptions, SOE put up a brief announcement on the Star Wars Galaxies site stating that West Coast Galaxies, including Scylla and Tempest, have been experiencing issues because of power outages caused by the fires.

I think SOE should just build a fire barrier around thier cultplex out of the millions of fanbois at thier disposal. It will be like burning man, but burning fan. That should keep the fire at bay for a dozen minutes. As long as they leave out the VG community because most of them carry gasoline in thier pockets for special occasions, which may further "enflame" the problem.
But realalisticly, let call in the clowns! The happy ones with boobs!
Not so nice guy!
and when you re-build Please Do Not once again :
A. put your house in the middle of a canyon surrounded by 40 feet of bone dry kindling wood
B. put your house in the middle of a swamp 8 feet below sea level that's being held back by a few inches of cement
C. put your house directly on top of an active earthquake fault that violently shakes every few days
D. put your house 3 feet from the Mississippi River which floods EVERY year like clockwork and washes away everything within a mile
E. put your house on a beach in Florida that's wiped out EVERY year by monster hurricanes.
or if you do, don't act all clueless and "OMG We Had No Idea!" when Ma Nature burns, washes, shakes or blows your house down. Again. and again. and again. and...
(sorry for the vote of non-sympathy but similar to the fire victims i used to live in a town which was by a major river and every freakin year the good citizens were just baffled as to why the same river-front homes were being flooded out each and every year.)
Seems SWG has been mostly unaffected by this. There was a couple of servers that were having issues on Monday or Tuesday and were being knocked offline a few times but since then things have been good.
