I've played AO and im subscribed right now. Its the only MMO that I have really liked. You should give it a try... The Alien Invasion expansion is coming soon also.

Everyone who has given AO a chance has loved it lol. ALot of people say "This game sucks, I couldn't stand it for more then the first 5 minutes" and that dosn't count lol. You can get to level 30 in your trial easy
about then youll have a idea about if you really like the game. Trust me it rocks!

I have been playing this game for 3 years or so, about a week or so after it came out. Its a big game with a great looking world. there are things you can find just by exploring the world that im willing to bet not meny players now have ever seen. Most new players (the last year or year and a half) i have seen them power level rather than take the time to stop and look around, and when they do they are to high to enjoy some of the game. basicaly what im saying is that if you are new to the game have some fun solo your way up and look around and enjoy the content. (some of it is hard to find) Dont be disapointed if you cant buy all the new armor, weapons and nano's all the time. just to see if i could do it i made an atrox MA and solo'ed all the way to 107 with nothing more than an Omni Med Suit on. (I ended up with a bit over 20 million credit, and no i did not give him anything to start with he/it was my lets see if i can do it char) Also no i did not have any implants at all in, and it was also not a fast leveling toon eather i just had fun with him. Give the game a try I think you might find you like it.
Sorry just my 2 bits wort of info and advice.
Before getting to AO I was quite addicted to AC, and had beta tested AC2 (but no internet shop would let me buy it because I don't live in the States, Germany, France or UK
) Played the 7-day trial of AO before SL, and liked it. When SL came out, I started playing and liked it much more, even if I was quite lost at start. Now it is the only game I play...
Played AO for three years through NW release and SL. I'm now currently the leader of a growing clan on RK1 and 208th level MP. I know nerfs, I know lag, I know the pain that players feel when the FC gun is pointed at them and the character they've spent a lot of time working on.
But I have to say it's still a great game and I still have a lot of fun in it.
I like the game alot. I have played a few others, but I really like the community in AO. I left for a few months after ShadowLands came out, but I came back and started all over. There is so much to do. Plus having missions is great. I like having random dungeons created to suit your skills. If you are sneaky and want to use stealth, you can choose those parameters. if you want to go charging in and fight everything up front, you can choose that also. Like an earlier person said you can solo prett easily at the early levels. But the fun comes with the people you meet and the missions and dungeans you can explore together. Take time to explore the owrld instead of just leveling, and I am sure you will love the game too.
