IMO this game looks and feels ALOT more like City of Heroes/Villains than even coming near how Diablo was

They just trying to lure old Diablo players by marketing it this way

I assume you are talking about how the dungeon system is setup. As in... you grab some quests and go into the same old dungeons and come back out.

I admit its slightly similar but.... everything else is very diablo-esque

The skill trees, the mobs, the skills, the random items/dungeons/mob encounters. The mods you can add to items (runes/gems in diablo's case)

This game is almost exactly like diablo2.

I felt the exact opposite about how it feels. It doesn't feel like CoH with the huge persistent world where everyone shares everything, including spawns. It feels like a total instanced dungeon crawl.

The Diablo moniker is kinda loose with it's usage...Flagships other game (Mythos) is TRULY a Diablo clone..

But, I digress...the reasoning is the whole lot o' loot drops (The Monty Haul Effect!) and add's to items (kinda like the gems from old) part of gameplay, and of course skill tree's...also the random dungeon thingie is also the same...

But, overall it has a new setting and a new view (3rd person instead of Isometric)...so, it feels more like Guild Wars to me.

    Cheers!
