Are there any mmorpg games out there like face of makind or fallen earth where the is a law enforcement department and there are different factions. Are there any games where politcs takes part as well. I like face of mankind but sometimes theres only 10 people on and people arent willing to give it a chance. So are there any games out there i like SCI FI games.

Based apon the limited info you provided  EvE online MIGHT be for you it has a police force and NPC factions and it is sci-fi.

Plus it has been going on for almost 5 years with subsciber numbers always going up. It runs on one server with upto 36,000 people online at once at peak times and around 17,000 people at quiet times.

Also because of the corperation structure [guilds] there are a lot of polotics that go on between player made and run coperations and alliances [a conglomeration of corperations]. Mainly for terratory and  trading rights.

This is also a PvP centred game with a STEEP learning curve so you have been warned.

As MR-Bubbles stated, EVE Online is a very political game.  There are player formed corperations, alliances, wars, etc and etc.  One of the most interesting political happenings that I heard of in EVE is the use of spies - corperations will use spies to learn about their enemy corps' movements.  A good spy can even ruin an entire corperation by getting access to their hangers and stripping them bear.  Out of money?  Out of business.  And yeah, there are police, but they're all NPCs.

I know I've been recommending this a lot lately (especially for a small game), but A Tale in the Desert also has some great political options - in fact, an entire Discipline of the game is based on it!  From mentoring new players to competing in the Demipharaoh elections, the game gives the players a lot of power - players even create the game rules through the creation of petitions and voting on laws.
