I read these forums everyday for multiple games. As you can see i don't post very often mainly because i don't believe in posting something unless it has a meaningful point behind it. I loved this game when it came out and i had bought the collector's edition, but could not play it to my liking because of all the lag, bugs, crashes etc. After reading numerous posts about this game since SOE took over and reading the update logs, i decided since i spent $90 on it already whats another $15 to risk to see if my original investment didnt go to waste. All i can say is I'm happy as a kid at christmas. This game has made so much improvements that i gave all 10 of my buddy keys to my friends this time around. I can't thank enough all of whom have posted on these forums about the improvements to the game and convincing me to resubscribe.

yeah I think the biggest thing that vanguard has is community. Mature, fun, and close.
Until VG has seamless chunking and when you cross a chunk line in your boat you don't fall off or have to restart, it is still in beta. What you are seeing is that it is no longer Alpha and may now be beta.
You guys making excuses for this pitiful game is why Game Makers keep giving us this crap.
The performance is still pretty bad though... at least in cities and I have above the recommended system.
long periods of 10-15 fps is not what I like to see in a game.
Actually you dont fall off any more, if you do its very rare. Though there still are a lot of flaws like CTD. But let me ask when was the last time you guys played? SOE has done some major fixes and updates. It runs A LOT BETTER, and ctd are less, chunking is better, etc
If you havnt tried it in a month or more, we are talking about a different game.

What I don't understand is why everyone makes such a big deal about little flaws. Yes, I know you pay for the game and want it to be as close to perfect, but all I ever hear people talk about in this game is how much they hate the little things that compound. Personally, if I fall off my boat because of a glitch, I'm going to laugh and restart and put a safety cone in the area I fell throug my boat. Its not like the world of Vanguard is on fire and there are holes in the ground that lead to a deep dark bottomless pit. I played AO for years, and the game was great even if the graphics were outdated, there were bugs AO had just decided to leave (blue portal in borealis near the subway much?), and a sudden influx of fr00bs made even WoW conversations seem like Ivy League lectures. Nothing is ever perfect, so why complain about it? So long as people are having fun with a game, I don't see the reason to point out a million little flaws about something. If you're not having fun, move on to another game in search of that perfection.

The actual game is quite well done. The quests and the dongeons, etc. There are just a good deal of litle things

Of 50 or so people in our guild, only 1 bought the Collector's edition, therefore, we only have one guild trophy in our guild hall that we use for adventuring buffs. We need more.. join my guild 
To be honost, i find all these people who pick at the minor bugs, quite funny. Lets use the NFL as an example. The NFL has been around for over 40 years yet they have to change many rules every year. OMG, they must not know what their doing, i mean cmon, you would think by now they would make the game PERFECT. The NFL has been in development for 40 years and they still dont have it right? Good lord.

Yeah, it's a good point and also, can any of you make a game that holds maybe 3million people at once? Or even a game that can hold two? i mean really give SOE credit, especially since they have no time to improve it right now because of Wildfires! Sorry if i sound Flamey.

I've also came back after 4 months away from VG and SOE job is being awesome!
FPS had got much better and gameplay had improve a dlot im my opinion. Now I'm having a good time on VG.
I hope SOE keep up the good work
