so atm im currently staring at ncsoft webshop and wondering wich pack to get
and before you flame me, yes ive read the stickys here but they fail to answer my question
is tehre a graphical diffrence between the packs since the sys req's differ alot ?, id hate to buy an outdated pack the first thing i do, also IF thats the case, is it fixed in the platinum edition ? (original campaign and eye of the north bundled)
i noticed when i looked sysspec for the first campaign and then took a glance at nightfall sysspecs
so in short, what do i need to enjoy a fully polished and updated GW ? would the platinum pack suffice or do i have to get nightfall and factions too ?

without getting into too much details...
yes there are graphical differences, but nothing too major. Most of the differences are with environments only.
in terms of most updated features, that would be Nightfall and Eye of the North. The use of heroes would be one example. They both also contain better looking environment models. In addition, since these are the two latest versions, you'll see more people in towns than in the towns of the other older two chapters (minus popluar trading areas).
Getting the platinum pack will allow you to understand Eye of the North's background story, along with knowing the more popular story of Guildwars. Factions and Nightfall are pretty much their own different stories. You'll have to wait to gain the more updated features like heroes until you finally enter the Eye of the North areas for this combination.
Factions offers some PvP stuff that the other chapters do not have, along with a fairly fast way to level up.
which Chapter(s) to get normally depends on what kind of gamer you are.
There's quite a handy guide to choosing which Chapter to buy over on Guild Wars Guru:

Graphical differences between the chapters really aren't that prominent - at least, they don't make enough of a difference to choose one chapter over another. The system reqs really aren't that different... pretty much the recommended for Prophecies is the same as the minimum for Nightfall, but nearly all modern computers will easily support either.
