Logged in this weekend to do some pirating in Aridian and look what I see 36k logged in... I think to myself EVE is still holding on strong. Im a solid EVE fan 4 years now and never a day I go thinking im going to leave. Most people are scared of this game because of the huge learning curve and the lack of stupid little dwarfs running around. EVE's community is top notch. For you EVE fans I respect ya and look forward to many more years of EVE with ya. Just dont confuse respect with kindness because my Thanatos will WTFBBQPAWN your ass if you come into Aridia.

Oh, wait! Is WTFBBQPAWN the thing where you target your enemy's space ship and hit the firebutton??? -And then wait for him to die?? Is that it???

Hmm.... well, we in the EVE community like to pride ourselves on our maturity and intelligence....
but this post is more like something a WOW fanboi would make.....
but then again, you are a pirate, sort of the low end of the bell curve I guess...
Its true, EVE's more popular than ever.... but there' s a right way to promote the game....
and then there's posts like yours.....

Excactly my point.. Just thought I might answer him in his own language
Aww dont hate now. Just showing my EVE love... I didnt intend to show my immaturity (was trying to hide it).
And a pirate is no different then a PVPer in 0.0. We just have bigger balls to tank them sentries and take hostile targets at the same time!
Eve Sucks. I have 16 warp gates till I can get to you, guess I will go make a sandwitch or something. The learning skills over time is a attempt to make money and keep you paying a subscription rather than a real skill progression model. Junk ass game enjoy.
The missions are just as fun as the matrix online running up and down elevators, same shit ever time. Getto. The space ships look lame too.

Yer but it clearly improves the game by removing the brainless grind for xp that 99% of other games seem to enjoy OH SOOO much. But to be honest if your experiance of eve only revolves around mission running and smack talking pirates then it would be best if you went and played wow and give me your isk so i can put it to some real use. Anyways gtg and whoop bob's arse.. again lol.

I fail to see how ganking newbs who haven't a clue about PVP in lowsec in a Thanatos (of all things) is somehow 'brave'. If you truely were brave you'd take your PVP out to 0.0 and fight real PVP'ers rather than sitting on gates ganking poor schleps who's only crime is wanting to get to their mission. Killing a mission runner isn't really any harder than killing the npc rats in the asteroid belts. They're fitted for mission running, not PVP.
As to your Thanatos? Using stabs isn't exactly a sign of 'bravery'. Not saying there's anything wrong with it. But going on about how brave you are to be in lowsec ganking mission runners, miners, and the occasional person just passing through when you have stabs fitted in your lows is kind of ahh... well.. you know what I mean.

Erm...I tanked a 60-man fleet consisting of everything from 'dictors to (lots of) nano-HACs to BS last night out in 0.0, so I don't know what you're talking about.

No kidding
I can tank the stupid sentries in a cruiser... let alone a carrier. Tanking sentries doesn't require any skill... just a big enough tank.

What!? They created a game to make money!? No way...
Seriously, if you're going to that tinfoil-hat about it, why not train a 30 day skill and cancel your account? It'll still carry on training.
(btw, there are no sand witches in the game... there's not even any sand!)

I played the game with the sandwitch......you have to club it with the bowlosoup.
Your Thanatos won't pown for long, read the latest dev blog.
About time they fixed carriers, they are support ships and should be used as such. Once that fix goes in, they will be back doing what they were supposed to do.
Time for you do dust off that old battleship.
Ya I know! A corp buddy of mine revealed that to me last night. You know I was kind of relieved though because we have a plague of MoM's in our low sec region that our corp has a problem with. Honestly though, they shouldnt touch Carriers. I think they are fine how they are, just nerf MoM's in low sec and leave regular Carriers alone. What I'm really looking forward to is the T2 Battleships. Those are going to be a lot of fun to pilot.
I have PVP out in 0.0 for many years so dont sit there and lecture me about how 0.0 Warfare is like. To many alliance bullshit you have to deal with out there. To many mandatory ops. I never liked it. I have a lot more fun out in low sec than I ever did in 0.0. We log on gang up and pvp and thats it! No mining ops, no pos refueling, just PVP. You can take that 60 man fleet or whatever and run with it. I'm glad you enjoy it, not worth my 30 dollars a month.
it's funny you mention that because you can actually play the game for free, that is if you have an active account and lots of free time.
eve is the only game i know that offers a secure way to sell/buy Game Time Codes for ingame ISK.
ofcourse CCP still makes the same amount of money either way, but it's still nice to have such a possibility for people who can't afford paying for it (such as myself).
u also can play eve in a private server and then after u get used whit the game move on the official server
BestSigEver :P
No you can't. There is no such animal.

guess it's just me, i log in at random times (anytime between 7am and midnight, central time), and for the past month, i've yet to see over 26,000 folk logged on.
i suppose it's possible i keep missing some sort of prime time burst someplace. my logging-in habits haven't changed and a few months ago, i was seeing it in the 35k+ range all the time. haven't this past month though.
could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?
didnt we brake 37k people logged in a few weeks back as i was there
there is, use google.
If you have put any time into eve and are taking money out of your pocket to play.....You are doing something wrong. As for the rest of your coments, i can see why you cant grasp the concept of the game.
