I just saw a press report announcing that Darkfall releases on the same day as Duke Nukem Forever.

Actually McQuaid is allready working on a new project allready...Its an MMORPG based on the Forgotten realms D&D frenchise.

Who knows what will happen with Darkfall. The developers seem to lack even basic marketing skills.
I personally think they are trying to add too many features. Sometimes it is better to start small and work your way up. They need to pare the feature list and get the pared list working.
But you must remember they are doing this in Greece with a small team. Living expenses are low and a small team will not eat up the budget. We might be surprised one day what they come up with.

Darkfall Online will not be released till next year I think, I don't really know the release date, and they have not yet released the beta test, there busy just getting everything ready for the beta test. If you go to their forums, you can now read the latest Dev Log which is number #16.

lets hope it doesn't announce one before April, else there'll be no april fools jokes to do
next year for sure on release let just hope they get beta started this year or by Q1 of 2008
