The List MMORPG's for Macs

The MMO for the Mac.  These are the games that you won't need to bother using boot camp, or Parallels, or Crossover, or any other program to run, because their creators were smart enough to design the game to run natively on good computers . There is a huge range in the style of the games on this list.  Some are combat-based graphically impressive behemoths.  Others have the ring of old Nintendo RPGs.  And some are sickeningly cute and cuddly cartoons (i.e. Toontown Online is produced by Disney).  But here they are, broken down by pricing:

Note:  All the pay-to-play games on this list have some sort of free play available.  It may limit you on time or content, but the trials are worth checking out.

Mac is nice for a lot of things but if your a gamer you need a PC. There is good vs bad on both but to play games your going to have to bite microsoft's monopolistic ways. MS caters to game companies who put all that support into that OS, Mac is left to making deals to keep some Mac users happy. How long did it take for a Mac WOW release? Wasn't that a long wait?

Just get a PC so your choices are endless.

lets not start this debate again

Macs are good for some things, PCs good for others...each has its strengths and weaknesses...end of story

    *Sigh*

Can we not get into this discussion?  It seems all the threads that are presented for mac users immediately get bogged down in the question: which is better a mac or a PC?  It's a matter of opinion, no  one will win this fight.  So if you hate macs, don't read this list.  That's not the topic.  I'd actually like to make this thread useful, not a flame fest, so post more games for the list, updates or corrections, please.  Not an endless argument over the superiority of the computer you use.

According to their website there isn't a mac client.  Is this the same game or is the mac version available elsewhere?

Keep in mind too that there is a program out there called Crossover that has made leaps an bounds in helping PC games run on the Mac OS.  There is no Windows OS installation, just this program alone can run certain application.  EVE Online is a game that they have been relatively successful in getting to run on the Mac OS, without using either boot camp or VM software.
