I was trying to find some information on this aswell i couldnt find a thing this is why i dont like it when mmorpg games dont have offical forums means you have to look all over the feckin place

Will this suit your needs?

Well that really would help its a great char builder. But what i wanted is a guide from beta players where i can see more or less which stats will be better for a spy (in mi case) so that i dont make a ver bad build while levelling once the game starts. I thought cloning will reset stats too but now i know it doesnt so thats why i want to have more or less a good idea before making my char.
The online tool Confetti mentions should be enough so far. It's really handy and is the one people uses most (there's another in .exe format but it's way more buggy than this).
About builds, well, don't stress yourself too much about that. So far there's no cookie-cutter builds anywhere. At most you may find some suggestions here and there at which skills may be more appropiate for your gamestyle.
Some hints that may help you to start with:
Later you'll find by yourself what's what and what's what you really want to invest on.
While is possible to "gimp" your character in TR, is way more difficult than in other MMORPGs. And, if you feel that you made something wrong when assigning skills or that they don't suit your play style, you can always pick one of your clones and reassign skills at your will again.
If you happen to raise your Body stat up to get extra health, you lose some bonuses from mind and spirt. The best thing you can do is to just evenly divide the stats at every level and get equipment that has mind body spirit regen bonuses instead.
Aha, so Spy is what you wanted, huh?
Then you may find this thread interesting: A spy without any attributs!
Ooh, You're the bestest girl I'll never meet.
This is an awesome character builder. I'm learning a lot about the flow of the game from this. Tabula Rasa's game mechanics are actually better than I thought. I shall relish it until post-release traffic drives the site hosting it down.
That said, I've never seen much difference in Body/Mind/Spirit point investment. Towards the end of the beta, I was putting 1 pt into each with each level, just to cover my bases.
think regen, and look at what the stats do. The stats don't have much of an impact on anything. They increase your regen rate, hitpoints and a few other things, and they don't do it by much.
They have no effect at all on combat skills. Half the people just increased them all equally. Spirit and Mind both increase regen, body increases hitpoints. As a commando I needed all of it.
I forget all the rest. I freed up that memory when I realized it doesn't matter. I was able to stay alive at level 24 while getting hit by level 40 striders as long as I didn't stand there and let them kill me. I had graviton pumped to 5 and just used flat increases against all my stats.
Hope that helps. I'd worry much more about my skill loadout.

It's all about play style. That's what I've learned so far.
Do I use my logos abilities often? Then probably I'll want to enhance my body and mind.
Do I get in close combat too often? Enhance body and spirit.
Most players will face both cases, so improving each stat evenly is a good way to go, especially at early levels. Some people even won't improve body too much and will go all for better regen rates. And they probably won't miss the extra health and power from Body, as long as that's the way they like to play.
For me, one of the most interesting aspect of this game is precisely this: you can't go wrong. Nothing is either extremely good or extremely bad. There're no easy answers
- Engineer is supposed to have some robot type pets
- Exobiologist is more like a necromancer
- The ranger line (ranger, spy, sniper) can summon an NPC to help.
I suggest people check the official site.

It has also been anounced that one high level reward will also be having command of your own squad... or something like that. Sounds interesting.
I suppose you could "pet" them... But people may look at you funny.
if you want to be sure of not creating a gimped character do this
as you leevel place a single attribute point into each attribute - this will give you an evenly balanced character
bump firearms to 5
maybe a single point into the t2 armour - just to let you wear it till t3
pump your t3 armour to 5
after that - save all your skill points for your t4 skills - provided they actually have them all in game and working correctly
remember that cloning only allows you to respec your skills, your attributes are cast in stone unless you re-roll
and hope like hell they don't 'balance' the game in a manner that nerfs your t4 skills or any lower tier skills you have invested in
I had really hoped they would have either upped the amount of skill points granted per level, or lowered the cost of skill pumps, or allowed for a full-free-and easy respec
they didn't, so say hello to a world of gimped characters each time they 're-balance' the game
Having played beta I can tell you that most skill were still being tuned until the last day of beta, so "optimal" builds didn't really get developed.
If you want to stay 100% safe on the path to spy, then divvy the attributes equally and don't touch any skills other than Frearms and Rage until you hit 15. Don't put the 5th pump into those either. At 15 you can either max stealth armor and put 1 point into Net Gun or just not touch anything else period until 30. Stealth armor is the signature thing for rangers/spies but due to many nerfs in beta, people were experimenting with using other armours. No definitive word on what's best at end game at this point.
Basically get firearms to 4 and rage to 4. This will give you a powerful enough character to get to 30. By 30 you should know what you're doing enough. Plus there will be people ahead of you who are testing things.
