If you love PvP, the kind of PvP where it is pure skill based instead of grinding and hack-slashing, you will love Fury.

The game has considerable amounts of people who play, and that is more than enough. You dont need millions of skilless players to play this game anyway.

Alot of gamers only seem comfortable with the type of games that they can't possibly  "NOT WIN" ever engagement, or that just have a few hours linear gameplay, where this has huge depth beyond the basics, improving your personal and team skills.

Population is fine and is climbing because those who like to have some challenge in their gaming won't be leaving any time soon.

I bought Fury a few days ago, and I say, it's probably one of the few occasion in my life where I should have kept that 50$ for something more useful.

Sincerely, I don't believe that game is ready for retail at all, I played the Beta a long time ok and I was really hoping they improved the game quite a bit since then, but I dont even think they did.

I spent a few hours at night playing and i took me 15-30 mins to get a simple Bloodthirst battle going, which only required 10-20 players. And also, since no one is playing it, they put really high level people in the same battle as well. Makes no freaking sense when someone can basically 3 shot you in less than 5 sec when their name is Red with ++ beside it. (Equivalent to a "skull" in WoW IMO) So yeah you have all those better geared/leveled people running around owning 3-5 people at the same time, it makes no freaking sense. And also, they only have one server open right now, no doubt why.

Stay away from that piece of crap game.

The above post is a fairly good example of "WTF I DIDN'T AUTOPWN DIS GAMEZ IZ SUXXOR", gear doesn't really matter and there aren't 'levels' it's mostly play experience to find what build might suit you well and player skill in how and when to use moves and react to and counter opponents.

Because the above poster didn't auto-win right away, in his eyes fury is now a bad game. I wouldn't expect to be instantly the number 1 without practising at any other activity, hobby, sport whatever... I suppose some gamers do because they are so used to having stupid computer controlled oppoents created purely to loose to them that the idea of playing against humans who might require some adaptable tactics or strategy to beat is something they just can't deal with.

That seems to be the basic difference between gamer types, those who take a challenge and feel spurred on to learn and improve their play, and those who quit saying it's the game that must be at fault and needs improving because they didn't autowin.

Btw the ++ is purely a rating during that game, killing the players doing best so far during a bloodbath match will earn one a lot more points during that game, equally them killing players who are doing worse will earn better players a lot less points that match so they are more inclined to fight each other, it has nothing to do with any sort of gear or grind time.

I guess it's a shock not being able to buy a sufficiently grinded character from some chinese farmer that it's power level will be overpowered enough to make up for their lack of ability.

lol seriously why did you buy Fury if you were "that" bad in PvP.

You will get WTFpwned in your early matches. Fury is competitive. Get used to it or go back to WoW PvP. Btw they put training grounds for people like you to get experience, but it seems that some of you like to jump into evil arenas and then come, whine here. Sad... really sad.

IN all honesty, you're asking the wrong crowd.

Whenever theres been a game with a slight uniqueness to it, the majority (apologies to those who do actually have a brain) of this sites lurkers just trash it into the ground.

How many false accounts can I make in one day just to make this game that I could not autowtfbbqpwnzor beat seem like trash?
A few tips I tell everyone interested in Fury:

1> MAke sure your machine can handle it first.

2> If you are gonna run it on low end render (becuase thats all your machine can handle), don't expect pretty graphics.

3> Expect a challenge and be prepared to die.

4>Any questions, come to the actual Fury forums. Theres just as many whiners there but at least they actually play the game.

There are no levels in Fury. In any competitive game there will always be people thatown you simply because they are better. It does not make the game unfair. It takes mere hours to get competitive gear, and it really doesn't impact gameplay a huge deal either way.
Red with ++'s simply means that they have a lot more poits than you in that particular game, nothing to do with ranks or levels or gear outside that particular game.

As to one server they changed it to one server to better accomodate for a competitive game, so that we can playw ith and against everyone. It was a change the playerbase had been askign for for months.

I'm sorry you were 'owned' in a PvP game, but hey its PvP not boars.
