Actually that would be 4:30PM EST so it would be a 7 1/2 hour headstart assuming it was going to be available midnight in the first place.
EDIT: In retrospect, it could be about that time for our friends in the UK however.

I dunno about this. Its 4:38EST and servers are NOT up.
Has anyone picked up a copy of the game from a store yet?
I just called my local best buy and asked if they had copies in, and they said they got them in a few days ago and they're out of stock currently.

That's because they either broke street-date or are holding what copies they have for the pre-order people picking up on the 31st (or today, if they decide to break street-date for the pre-orders and not the punters)
Well, I have a pre-order from that store.
I'll just go in tomorrow morning and hope they've got them.

They wouldn't be breaking street date as the game was pushed up to release today. Unfortunately, nobody seems to have gotten the memo at EB and they're being stubborn about releasing it today.

Gamestop by my house says they were supposed to ship today, get here tomorrow (of course I am in Texas and usually the conditions here are different), and i don't get mine till tomorrow even though i pre-ordered
And BTW, i can't connect to any of the servers either. Blegh.
Mine did too. Unfortunately thats EB speak for "we have them in back but we're told by management to say this so people don't hound us about the street date". Unfortunately, this doesn't work when they don't actually update their damn databases with the correct dates. I know this because I have plenty of friends who work at various EBs in the area, unfortunately just not the one near where I live -_- We've been flat out told its not in yet by this particular one while we were looking at the game, sitting right there, in the box on the floor next to him, perfectly visible. My friend called the manager on it once to get his on time. Yeah, I hate EB.

While we are all waiting on the servers, perhaps someone can answer a question for me? Do you know if the Dye kits will be tradable to other pre-order people? The Dye kit I wanted was not available in my area *Grumble* and I don't wanna be stuck with the Biohazard color.
