EDIT - Oh, well, googling Tintin revealed Tintin++ the MUD, which Im assuming is what you meant, and now I feel like a nub. Though in my defense, I'm only 19 and did not play MUDs.
EDIT2 - Further googling reveals a film adaptation of the Tintin cartoon series, co-directed by both Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson.

Man! that brings back memories! Although, this was recently in the news. I think someone wanted to make a Movie based on this series...until someone reminded them that there was a lot of racial undertones.
