Hello Peoples,
Here are some screen shots from the game last night...with the return of Halloween, meant the return of the Mad King and all his wacky comedy. These were taken from Lions Arch, Droknars Forge, Kamadan, Tomb of Primevil Kings. The two new masks from last night are the scarecrow and mummy mask, also I put on my favorite mask the original pumpkin mask from year 1. In the picture with the Mad King I am the small character in the forefront with our guilds Halloween spider cape showing...he is a little taller than me. Anyways, enjoy...

Nice pictures. I can't get to Droknars Forge or Tomb of Primeval Kings with any of my charrs so I couldn't check those places out *sadface*. Looks like I missed something. Nice of you to get your hands on both a mummy mask and scarecrow, I'm yet to get the scarecrow one. Gotta love Mad Kings joke "What is the likeness of a paragon and a drunkard?" - "They both like to scream at people and doesn't wear any pants".
I so live this event. It feels like a tradition to go back into the game every year, to Mad king and se the GW world change for a day:D

loved the new hats, although I completely forgot about costume battles and never got round to trying them

I'm glad to be able to share my screenshots with others.I thought I did a pretty good job and it's nice to know that others think so too.
This was my first event in GW so everything was new to me.Being my initial event, I thought it was really great. I'm not a PvP person but playing the Halloween Brawl was a great way for PvE players to see what the PvP arenas are all about. I really enjoyed the brawl and it has me interested in the PvP aspect of the game. Since I got a chance to try it out.
Apparently for vetrans of the game this was a lot like last year's event. I can see why the makers of the game wouldn't want to mess with the event too much because this event seems to be the most popular celebration. The old adage if it ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind. I can also see the vetrans point of view of needing change to keep things fresh so that they will have just as much fun as the new players.
There are loads of ideas to choose from. Take some of the events that work well with other celebrations and put a Halloween theme to them like the beetle bug race that I've heard about.You could have special missions with a Halloween theme to them.You could even add a haunted house and special PvP arenas on newly discovered islands that disappear after Halloween.Halloween themed mini games like the ones in Eye of the North. Special armor runes that will change your armor to go along with your Halloween hats and just last through celebration.There are loads of ideas to choose from.There could be a contest where we vote for what ideas to put in next year's event.The possibilities are endless.
