I just have to say that mmorpg.com by far has the best forum ive ever seen on the net, and i challenge anyone to show a better one!

    they have alot of game forums and variety but they are hardly the best. They are kinda slow and the search function is borked when looking up names. It doesnt even show 1/2 my posts =/

    Well, in honesty I have no idea if anyone would.  But, I know they have links and such that might cause some controversy.  It comes from experience bro, thats all.

    is there an advanced search or something only thing i see is by the upper right corner

     

    and you cant search by user,topic,posts etc

     

    it just seaches for the words in the titles

    Actually, when you go to that search and then decide to use it.  It searches all of the above mentioned.
    -- User, Topic, Posts and anything else.

    It's just globbed into the search bar to make it easier for you to use.  Use once, and then post about what you think is going on.  Because then you'd understand it more.  But thanks for your inexperienced rant image

    Thats right, ease of use!!  Usability is what makes this site great, and thats the most important thing, more important than having 50 options to choose from while searching for something!

    actually id like to be able search by topic or by post which you cant

    also I like to be able to just get posts from one poster

     say i search for GoaT

    well any time goat is mentioned then that pops up

    becuase i searched GoaT and topics ive never seen came up

    it doesnt allow you to search just for a certain users posts

    and being able to put a date deadline is always nice when searching
