Actually that's not true at all... currently in Beta, you can have 10 per server (10 on AvH server and 10 on normal server).
Kat (the Public relations moderator) said that it is subject to change but will most likely be 10 per server the way it is now.

meh... im all for WoW being a great game and all, and i will probably even try the Beta myself... but i still dont see anything new...
then again, this is what we might just need... we DO have quite a few games promising "revolutionary" new game features, but many times they fall behind (mostly because they're... well... new ^^)
so maybe just taking the old ideas and polishing them up can be a good thing... guess we'll have to wait and see...
no matter where u come from... no matter where u are now... no matter where ur going... its all about the EXP

As much as I like to see new and original ideas in mmorpgs, I also don't think that it's a bad thing to repeat the tried and true features that made these games what they are today . . .
As long as they are done right, with no bugs! It is so frustrating to have played a mmorpg with some features that worked well, and then play a newer game with those same features that don't work. I know different developers and different code, etc. but we, the gamers, see the same things . . .
I am more patient with revolutionary games, or games that include new, never before seen features. I am not worried at all that World of Warcraft will have many bugs, in fact, I think that the game wil set a grand example to all other developers on how to release a completely polished mmorpg (polished, not finished, no mmorpg should ever be finished unless it's cancelled).
WoW is second on my list of most anticipated games, but I am really looking forward to trying it out. All the features look nice, the only real problem I have with it is the cartoonish graphics, but I think the gameplay will be so good that I hope I'll get over it, or learn to live with it.
Nooblet, posting good stuff about WoW? Im impressed. And you didnt even include any images with big FU text
The "pingable map for remembering good camp spots" is one thats been on my wish list since I started playing AC1 so many years ago. Love all these goodies in the game.

Btw alot in wow they have learn from ac2 and make it better i love it.
The one big thing that realy will be better then ac2 is population:P
Oh yeh i forget and lag will be less then ac2 that was one of things i hate in ac2 damn lag:(
I really hope that the towns aren't huge, and when I'm on a quest and trying to find that NPC, he/she isn't going shopping

I keep hearing all this crap about there being nothing new in WoW, the way i'm looking at it everything is being presented in a totally different way, making all of it new. A quest and story driven mmorpg rather than a game just to run around and level, is something that the mmorpg world has not yet exerienced. Before complaining about there being noting new in these games tell us what is "new" and how it might be implimented.
The newest thing I see is Wish, and i'm excited for it but really other than one large server, what is even new about that?
Its the way you look at the question, not the question itself that determines the answer, so stop complaining about a lack of new material and get down to the specifics.
i remember in AC2 they had customizable GUI's which was cool as hell

A piece of poop dressed in a little tuxedo is still a piece of poop.
If you want new, check out Tabula Rasa. And by check out, i don't mean look at screenshots, watch the gameplay trailer and especially the video interview, and you'll see what i'm talking about.
I don't really understand the need for this thread either... i'm not making any opinions on WoW, but does it really need any more hype?
