Quick question on skill points...

Is there a way to respec? Say you spend pts in firearms and motor assist armor when you become a sniper those skills wont be used. Was just wonderin how to get your skill pts back
P.S. Tabula Rasa is the most fun ive had in an MMO in a long long time

You get a clone point just before every tier change. When you clone all your skills are reset (stats are not). So if you're aiming to be a sniper, boost up whatever you need to get there. Then clone just before you pick spy. Transfer your cash and items to the new clone using the footlocker thingies, and spec out your new spy skills. If you need more clone points later on to respec, you can go complete the target of opportunity (1 in each zone).

For additional flexibility, and in order to allow the player to test the different classes freely, the game allows the player clone a character.
As of the patch on 8/21/2007, a player may only clone if they have a clone point, i.e. at the end of levels 4,14 and 29 when tier selection is available.
This means a player can clone his character before he chooses a class, allowing the player to experience both classes without starting a fresh character.
Clone points can be earned in two ways
At the end of level 4, 14 and 29 you will earn a clone point
Complete ToO(Targets of Opportunity) quests to earn a clone point
When you clone, the resultant clone will share the same attributes as the original (Body/Mind/Spirit)
However, the clone will have all skill points refunded which could provide a way to do skill resets
Your clone will share all completed quests and objectives with the original. If your ToO quest is 90% completed, your clone also will have it 90% completed
However, your clone will not have any quests active, and must retake the quests.
Your clone will be created without any money, weapons or gear so please keep that in mind when cloning.
However, your clone will share the same storage account.
