Concerning Classic Servers...

I would like to come back to this game after I don't know how many years. However, I would like to know if I would need anything besides the original game (Dark Age of Camelot) and the Shrouded Isles expansion to play on the classic servers. I would assume you wouldn't, but I would just prefer to make sure. Thanks in advance.

There are other downloadable expansions available. Housing for one is a must. etc. Check the website for all the free downloads.

Yep, to get up and going on a classic server, thats all you'll need.

If your starting from scratch, get into the youngling battlegrounds as soon as your able.

I think many feel the same as you. We've been looking for the DAOC magic in other MMORPGs and they were lacking. A lot of people have high hopes for WAR (Myself included).

Well stated, have tried and discarded many an mmo looking for my Old DAoC feelings and is exactly why I wait with fingers crossed for WAR
one more thing you will want the cattacombs expansion, cant use TDs with out it but si,toa(which you will need for cats regardless of classic) and cats are all free.
In fact I believe it is this week, maybe next, where you will need to use the Catacombs Client. SI hasn't worked for years and ToA client is going away.
Ah yes, I had forgotten that catacombs recently became a free download.
