I run Eve on Wine (Linux AND Freebsd) for more than a year now.

Big deal. This is a Cedega running Wine, anyway, it's not native.

Is mmorpg.com going to change the Platforms listing on EVE's page? It still only has the Windows icon.

Kudos for CCP for THINKING about other systems users.

This is something Blizzard should do long ago instead of banning people playing WoW on Wine and alike.

    The same email even!

Saved for when I can test the lastest build as the beta one crashed on my Ubuntu Gusty system for some reason.

Ok, latest build still crashes right out.. yet Wine works flawlessly with less fuss to set up. Wine is nicer for now, but supposedly lacks critical functionality for Trinity (classic version even) which TG should have included in time. Guess it'll be now EVE for me until Wine catches up (they always do)

This isn't a native Linux release?

Nope, its just a Cedega/Cider wrapped Client.

The Cider Client runs quite ok on my MBP

Well, at least they decided to officially support Linux. Big + in my book. Kinda makes me want to sub.
