New Players of EQ 2

ZaradisZaradis Member Posts: 241
alright, so EQ is already very established and i'm sure there will  be a frenzy from old school fans getting this game, but as a new player wanting this game ....wonders... People have gain friendships through this game and once were in big ass guilds and will probably be playing 24/7,rping, and wanting to play with veteran eq players...basically my question is do you think they'll put a newbie server up, not necessarily saying its "newbie server" but verifying it's for bran new EQ players.

This game is nothing like the original Everquest.  The class system is different, combat is totally different, death is totally different, geography is different, the towns are different, there will be new zones and many many other things.  So I believe its safe to say that everyone will actually be a newbie on day one ;)

It will be new to everyone. There is a possibility that old players might have a learning curve

Everybody will be newbies in this game since EQ2 is nothing like EQ1 except that they share space on the timeline where EQ2 is much further up the line. Anybody who has played any mmorpg will have a better learning curve but everybody will still have to figure out all the tricks and strategies.
