EQ2 is a brand new game, i dont think that a newbie server is necessary. play, if u cant figure it out ask some1 who played EQ, im sure there will b plenty of people who can help ya if ur haveing trouble.
i didnt get past lvl 26 on EQ cuz i had to stop playing, but thats what knowledge i have.

It will be new to everyone. There is a possibility that old players might have a learning curve
Everybody will be newbies in this game since EQ2 is nothing like EQ1 except that they share space on the timeline where EQ2 is much further up the line. Anybody who has played any mmorpg will have a better learning curve but everybody will still have to figure out all the tricks and strategies.
