If you like amazing graphics (given you have a decent vid card), non stop action, getting legendary gear every 1-2 hours(enhanced and rare gear every 1-4 minutes), skillful non auto-aim/attack(
>>WoW), randomly generated levels and mobs, online play with clans, a rockin soundtrack, detailed character builds, and smashing undead with a cricket bat.... then you should probably go out to the store now and buy HG:L right now!

Got 6 of my rl friends playing this game now and it didnt even take me to convince them to play.
The LOOT system ROCKS and there is no such thing as a ninja now.. haha
Its been awhile since we all agreed on a certain game, this game is a riot and will keep me busy till the next big game comes out.

and with the exception of a few freezes, i have absolutely loved it!
I disagree, I do like all of the stated reasons to play this game... but nor the beta nor demo made me like the game. My opinion anyway, I see a lot of people enjoying it though.

Agree. It's a lot of fun, especially in multiplayer mode. Some classes are a bit lackluster when soloing but in groups it's a blast all the way!
... oh I remember it so clearly.. the reviews and forum trolls (yep, we had them even then) bashing Diablo when it came out - that it's not a "proper" RPG (in those days it meant not turn based, gasp - it shows you how people can be closed minded), that the gfx are dated, that no one in his right mind would play a game without a "proper story"... meh. It is in human nature to try to fit new things into a known category and this game has a feel of it's own... It is not a "proper MMORPG " or a "proper FPS" - it is what it is, and it is good.
With an upcoming Auction House and Mailbox. The game will even get better to play. When you got a auction house, you will have alot of chit chatting going on in the game.
I'm glad to see that people are enjoying this game ^_^
I personally am addicted to this game. It really is extremely well-done (in my opinion).
Also, anyone else hear about the first level 50? He was an evoker on the European server, check out the thread on the main website.
Yeah, saw that. I believe that person was a Level 50 Guardian.
I dont think I could even attempt that. Well maybe if I didnt have a job and bills to pay. haha
