Quick question for a noob

One quick question on this game... one thing that is bugging the bejeezus out of me is that everytime I loot a dead enemy it takes my out of mouse control and leaves open my inventory window.  So looting requires me to hit a key to use target, mouse over to click the loot all button, hit another key to bring back mouse control, then hit ESC to close my inventory window.  Considering the number of enemies you face, this is a serious pain to do each and every time.  Is there any way to quickly loot something?  Like for example, hitting Ctrl+mouseclick in WoW autoloots, is there anything similar in this game?  I've tried different variations of the loot filter under the options screen but nothing seems to make a difference for me...

    I'm not sure if I understand what you mean but... I just run over the corpses and it loots automaticly without any interface window popping up. Very handy

    I didn't know it did that, I always see a "Click T to use" over a dead enemy and when I click it it brings up the loot option I was talking about.  So running over a dead enemy will automatically collect everything then?  Cool!

    You can tell if a corpse has some loot for you if it sparkles or if, when you get close, you see a triangle with a "press [T] to use" message within.

    When I say "loot for you", I mean in a team/group/party with "rotating loot" set a corpse might have loot but only a specific team member can see or loot it. This is very similar to one of WoW's looting methods.

    I've also noticed that the game automatically rolls to determine who gets higher quality loot. AFAIK, no Need/Greed window pops up but I sometimes see a "rolls on Greed" message in the chat window.

    I was wondering about how the need/greed works myself as I've seen "rolls on Greed" without having been asked if I wanted to roll need or greed. Maybe loot is auto needed or greeded depending on whether its usable by use class/crafting skill...

    You can set you auto-loot in Options. If you set aout loot to the maximum level, you will loot everything by just stepping on the corpse.
