First game in a long time to make it into the top 10 on xfire.com during the first week of release. Pretty good IMO.

352,258 minutes today = about 5,871 hours...
let's say average gamer plays 3 hours in a day...
about 1,957 individual gamers playing Hellgate today.
Not bad at all...
Unless you compare it to the 20,914 individuals who have played WoW today (using same 3 hour per day average)
But it is the #3 MMO on the list, being #3 isn't bad.
Hellgate does use Xfire technology built into the game too, I know of 2 people personally who now use Xfire based on HG:L that didn't use it before this, which is agood thing
But not everyone uses Xfire, such as myself. So how accurate as the statistics? I mean, I suppose, they are accurate in showing what Xfire users are playing but it does not indicate or gauge the player-base for either Wow, or Hellgate, nor any other game. The statistics only prove what portion of the Xfire community is playing.
or how about this the peak online was about 16k on the USA server but usally around 10-15k around peak hours.

Does anyone know how many US servers there are?
My brother bought a copy of this game and he was asking which US server. I guess afetr you pick that certain US server, you cannot pick another? I am totally clueless here..
I think they added another server since launch. My friend asked me the same thing, I've just never checked since then.

There is only one US server, one EU server and a Test Server. They took down Abbaddon. I imagine they'll add another server if the population grows enough.
