I played Eq but the ppl there are miserable I know I dont want to return there. But I will go where its the most fun I know WOW is challenging to level unlike everquest and in my opinion WOW is best so far Id like to know more about WOW vs Vanguard?
WoW is *nowhere near* as difficult to level up as EQ. However, I would say that WoW tends to be a lot more fun as a game than EQ and more fun than what little I saw of Vanguard. The problem with WoW is that it's end-game isn't very enjoyable (to me). However, reaching that point is a lot of fun, I think.
depends what type of game you like best really. If you want a low system-specced, fun game then WoW is good, if you want a bit more of a grindy, grouping-based but more of a high-specced game then Vanguard is probably good. EQ2 maybe somewhere between the two.
In my opinion, in Vanguard you feel more inmerse in the virtual world they've created than in WOW, not sure if this can be fun for you, for me it really is

WoW is more challenging than EQ? Dear god, ... lad just stay in WoW.

They're both easy to level it's just one requires more time wasting grinding : What sucks about mmorpgs, they arn't hard but just time sinks.
Everquest 2 is the most 1) fun, 2) accessible, 3) deep, 4) interesting, and 5) exciting of them all.
Believe it or not, I still have a WoW account but do not play WoW. I seldom play EQ 1 because I do not have the time for it. EQ II has all the great things of MMOs, and the Rise of Kunark is going to be sweet with all the fun stuff of EQ 1's Kunark without all the problems.
My vote: EQ 2, easily.
----- WoW and fast food = commercial successes. I neither play WoW nor eat fast food.
I hate to say this, but if you're looking for sheer "fun factor" I would go with WoW. I played WoW from release to expansion. I had alot of fun doing those quests, they somehow made doing the same feel somewhat dif. Yet as stated above...endgame was very very very bad. Yet i waited for the expansion...and it was more of the same.
Sounds like you've already made your decision. If you enjoy WOW the way you seem to and already ruled out EQ, then you're really asking if VG is more fun than WOW. VG is a more serious MMO than EQ2. It's not as easy or polished and the community is on par with EQ2. If you find WOW fun then I'd guess that VG would definitely be less fun. If that's your primary concern then stick with WOW.
MMOs Played: EQ 1&2, DAoC, SWG, Planetside, WoW, GW, CoX, DDO, EVE, Vanguard, TR Playing: WAR Awaiting 40k Online and wishing for Battletech Online

Completely agree with everything Dreadlich said. If you enjoy a more immersive, complicated game, I recomment Vanguard. If youre looking for something that is more based on social interaction and not much difficulty , I would recommend WoW.

Do mind this is MY opinnion.
(Played wow since us beta, EQII Trialled few motnhs after release & trialling again, Vanguard: never played)
WoW
Pro: - Smoothness, combat and movement just goes smoothly
- Easy to get into (consider this as a con aswell)
- Lot's of hidden jokes ingame
- beautifull & immersive zones
Cons: - Some servers have a crap community (due to high subscriptions you find alot of tards)
- Shallow: there's crafting, pvp, classes, skills all that an mmo needs but god it has almost no depth
EQII:
Pro: - More depth then wow
- More classes (tho alot are bassicly the same)
- Better craft system
Cons: - Plastic characters (while graphics are nice it was just to plastic for me)
- Combat and movement didn't go smooth if you're used of wow.
Vanguard:
Pro: - Seems like this game has alot of potential. And they are poloshing it up.
Cons: - It's still buggy and the rescue might come too late.
Bassicly I would say trial all of em and decide yourself, cause liking an mmo is something personal.
To sum it up:
Polished: WoW
Depth: EQII
Potential: Vanguard
Funner?
none of them but I suppose World of Warcraft since it beats the other two to death without even trying.
WoW is more challenging than EQ? Dear god, ... lad just stay in WoW.
REALITY CHECK
