No Mir 3 Folder

in The Games in Development section in Discussion why is there no Legend of Mir 3 Section? ok some ppl might not like it, but it is VERY popular and i would like to see one there, thanks

Because right now they cant have a forum for every game.

Just the ones listed on this site need Folders, there isn't really any limit on how many they can have, if there is a folder then people will talk about the game in it, and it will encourage people to come to this site to discuss the games in the correct Game folder.

Everytime MMORPG adds a Game to it's listing it can add a forum folder and a link to that folder for people to talk about the game in it.

That makes sense to me

Very popular? Ive never heard of it, even once. They only have the most popular games on the Forum list because itd be too much hassel to have 100 different game forums, not to mention itd make finding your game in the list hell.

Well you've heard of it now, and will be hearing it a lot more in the future as well

I wasn't talking about the forum quick list, that should be the most popular or latest accessed etc, for members it should be selectable which forums to have in the quick list.

But as I said there is already a master list for all games, with reviews and comments, it's only a step further to have a forum for each and every game.

I think that Mir3 should have its own folder.

Mir3 is not in open beta testing yet, but when it is i beleve u can join beta testing without having a credit card. When it goes P2P there is a trial period (time or level not know). The game can be paid monthy or you get free game time with a shop bought game.

I agree the Mir2 site is very lame, thats game network for you .......

Mir2 you can download and make an account, you can have 2 chars. per server (2 servers).

You can play each char. to level 20. After that u can carry on playing if you pay, payment can be switch, credit card or splash plastic.

But no u dont need a credit card to make a account..

irth online does not have a folder to and its a pretty good game but indeed i think that only the most populair games get a folder otherwise every game should have one and then the folder menu would get a little disorderd wont you think ?

Legend of Mir 3 is the 3rd MMORPG from a developer called WeMade.

Legend of Mir was never english language only available in Korea.

Legend of Mir 2 (The Three Heros) is a hugely popular Korean game. It was translated for the european market and licenced by a company called Game Network. It is still available in Europe and Asia. In my oppinion this game is highly adictive and has lots of potential, but Game Network did not put the development effort support, time and cash in to the game. I think this game is slowly dieing. I played this game for well over 2 years solid and have not complaints about the game only the provider.

Legend of Mir 3. This game is availble in Asia, but still in translation to the European market. Last month a company called Quality Games Online, announced they had signed a contract to bring Mir3 to europe. Soon to be in closed beta (Closed Beta signup is closed). When closed beta has ended Open beta to start.

Mir in europe has a huge community, Mir3 is a long awated by all, including myself. If QGO do what they prommise should be a top ranking MMORPG.

Mie 2 and 3 are even bigger than linage in korean, the only reason most of you haven't heard of them is because your american kids who only love 3d games and don't really follow the mmorpg scene in any detail.

I'm pretty sure mir2 broke something like 10 million users online at once playing record. Yeah small games :P they are however smaller in the western world as mir2 was terribly run and issues stopped the early release ofmir3.

you really shouldnt knock an english site for not following korean mmorpg's. there is a reason you dont see korean language all over this site...its not korean.

anyway, i will vouge for the game, its a pretty cool game, good bit of fun. all combat releated, no crafting or anyting, although you can mine for money. if you dont mind old school graphics, definatly check this out. its a bigger better version of mir2, for those that played mir2, and it does have a decent pvp system for those that are into that. unfortunatly no character customization really, so if your a warrior, every warrior your lvl will be the same, besides equipment(and probably equipment too).
if the mir3 beta is out before any of the new games get released, hope to see you all there.

You can customize hair styles/colour and clothing colour in Mir3.

Hopefully more patches will bring even more customization.

I found that crafting is pretty boring in most games and Mir3 doesn't really need it.

As Fulmanfu is a warrior he tends to think Mir3 is simplistic, and if you tend to play as a warrior, well I guess thats what you want from a game anyway, so you'll be happy

If you want something a bit more challenging play a sorcerer or even a Tao.

If mu online gets a folder aswel as many other poor mmorpgs gets a folder then mir3 certainly deserves 1.

I have been thinking about this Mir3 folder thing...... I think that Mir3 does NOT need it's own folder....

Because if it had all the people who read this thread may have not even seen it.

With how i feel about Mir2 and what i expect with Mir3, i think more people should give it a try....

why do you attack my posts, when im not even knocking the game, just saying the truth. all i am doing is letting people know how the game is, from a unbiased point of view(although i stated i do like the game).
i dont feel like getting into another arguement over this game with you mir3 fanbois, but if you really did play the korean mir3 beta(like you have stated before) you would know that a sorcerer and a tao is very easy to lvl, not more challenging. and also cookie cutter, you learn certain spell at certain lvl, and so does every other one of that class. yes you can now shoot iceballs/windballs along with fireballs, but you dont pick one or the other, you learn them all, lvl them up when you can, and still use thunderbolt to lvl faster than them all.
and yes you can change your hair color and style(barely noticable) but you will be wearing a helmet/hat(odds are, the same one as everyone else your class/lvl) so whos going to notice.:12
please tell me what color hair my avatar has, i changed it to a LoM3 char.

as far as patches, qgo cannot add anything they didn't buy. they can work on stuff they bought and add it as they get it working properly, but cannot add thier own features.

Sorry Fulmanfu I wasn't really trying to attack you personally I just pointing out the warriors are a less complex char to play eg. you care about DC and AC and thats it. With a Sorcerer you now have to think about 4 different types of Magic. You have to kit up in the correct stuff and use the correct spell type to do the most damage to your target(s) So you can lvl you char faster but you got to think more I guess at heart I just want everyone to be sorcerers

To me you do tend to come across as negative even when you post to support the game.

The Prof. Snape avatar might of affected my view of you abit but that's how I see you now and forever......gloomy.

Your first post on this thread was the most positive one I've seen you post, but you couldn't help adding a negative, so I felt the need to balance it by adding a positive, which you felt was too positive so you added a negative post..and it goes on, you posting negatives and me posting positives..so I guess in the end that gives a balanced view lol

Now back to Mir3.....

Well your new avatar is shrunk abit to fit the avatar space so it's kind of misleading, without a helmet it's very clear what colour your hair is etc, you can't see a persons hair style under a helmet, but then again thats what you would expect.

In the end customization is just icing, I don't think it made much difference in any of the games I played, you always had to look at the persons name anyway.

I'm glad to say QGO has paid for all the patches in advance, so no fear there.

Surely we need a Mir3 folder to discuss these minor issues as it's getting very O/T
