Online client downloading?

Hey guys,
After reading about the $2 30-day starter kit, I went on a witch-hunt to find it. Apparently (according to EB), these are not sold in Canada, which I find hard to believe but I'm not about to argue with EB because it won't get me anywhere. I could always buy it from the states, but since that 2 dollar disc would cost 15 bucks to send to Canada? Not a great alternative.
Is there anywhere I can pay for this online, and just download the client overnight? I want to give this another shot (Paid 80 bucks at release... played 2 weeks and quit) but a slower-paced MMO might be something I need right now and I wanted to give it another shot.
Is there anywhere I can get this online? Thanks!

Unfortunately, there isn't a downloadable digital version of FFXI.

i have a buddie key i can give u, I've been thinking aobut giving it away to someone that can't get the game such in your case.
Ahh, no digital download? That's too bad. :X I suppose it would be nice if I just sucked it up and bought the game, though. CD's and boxes are sort of cool. :P
Do you have any RL friends that might want to use the key, Reid? Nobody you want to try and suck into FFXI's charms?
That 30-day buddy key is basically the same as the 2 dollar starter pack, right? Will it let me download the client then, or will I have to find the CD's (if I was to hypothetically use your buddy key)

none of my RL friends are into this plus there all sucked up by WoW mmos we disagree on, games i play mmos with normally are into TR and my one friend that i played with back in the day has a mac at the moment so no i don't mind giving to key to you its just getting dusty.
yes, if you get a buddy key you can download the game, just need the download code.
