Like the title says whihc version of call of duty 4 should I get, the pc version or the xbox 360 version. Also, should I sell halo 3 to get it?
HERESY SELLING HALO 3?
lol jk Id hold onto halo 3 though if your pc isnt that great get the 360 version unless you love mods.
Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.
If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day. And then Nebraska would get nerfed.-pinkwood lotro fourms

-: Depends if you prefer controllers or Mouse. This is a bit more slower paced game than say, Halo or unreal tournament, so I personally have no problems witht he Xbox360 controller, it works great.
- I don't know how the Online PC version works, but Xbox360 has an automatic matchmaking system
- The PC versions will probably have player made mods, the Xbox360 version won't. If you care about mods, this is something to take into consideration.
- Can your PC handle it? If you're not sure, then you might as well take the Xbox360 version, the game looks stunning on the Xbox360.
about Halo 3: I personally wouldn't sell Halo 3 for Call of Duty 4. Call of Duty 4 is not a replacement for Halo 3, both games have quite different gameplay both in singleplayer and multiplayer.
I would play any shooter on the pc over any console because of aiming with the mouse. The Wii is making headway because of the controller. Still the pc has far better power and graphics over the Wii. So the pc wins hands down for shooters.

A true gamer doesant discrinimate on graphics alone.
But yea i agree the ouse Keybourd combo is much more intuative than the controller setup.

I play cod with a 7300LE 528mb with like 30fps and is still the best looking game I played since lotro

That's not nessessarily true. I'm a designer and visuals are very important to me. It might sound shallow but my training as a designer forces me to pay close attention to minute details. So if I see something that graphically doesn't sit right with me, it erks me to the point of making the game unplayable.
But you're absolutely right: for FPS mouse + keyboard is the way to go.

I'm a PC gamer and I do own the game, which runs flawlesly, so I'll have to say the PC.

I don't really like halo 3 because there is not much strategy.

I'll be playing it mostly int he dorm and my computer sucks anyway so it's 360 for me.
Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.
